I was in his room, he was upset, but I couldn't make out whether it was a sad upset or a pissed off kind.
"Ashton?" I said, hushed and cautious.
"What?" he sighed in return.
"I'm sorry."
He didn't reply.
"Ashton, please" I pleaded. "Please."
"Why didn't you tell me?" he said quietly, still not turning around to face me, sitting on his bed. Him by the doorway.
"Ash I promise you, I was trying to. I really wanted to. I just wasn't sure how..... I was scared of how you'd react."
With this he did turn to me, expressionless, and I was shocked. He started to walk towards me and sat next to me on his bed. "You should never have to be afraid of me. Actions and reactions included." He faced me and turned my head to face him as well.
I smiled a weak smile. "Thanks baby."
