A human defiled by Spite is a human devoid of its humanity. Spite, in and of itself, may not appear to be evil. It may appear depressing, or unfortunate, if one has been taken by Spite. But being deceived by Spite is to be deceived by death itself.
Spite is described as "a desire to hurt." In a way, L. O. V. E. is not only an acronym for Level of Violence, but a measure of Spite. Generally, LV starts at one. But those with Spite may begin at a fluctuating amount.
Spite informs one of the dangers of trust, and the positives of doubt. It tells them that being kind solves nothing, and that fear should be embraced. That morality is useless, and that the world is against them.
Spite will do things, not because it wants to, but because it will cause others pain. If something will result in others sadness, then that is as good a reason as any to do it.
Spite is a terrible, dark, evil hole. Do not try to help those that fall in. They will pull you down with them. They are lost.
