Chapter 9: Among the stars

Falon:

" Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like on
A-Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby, kiss me "

And before I could sing any more , I feel a book hit my head. 

"Ouch" . I shout while turning to the culprit, as always my elder sister. She came over for holidays , from her mate's pack . We have double reasons to celebrate this year, she's pregnant. My mother couldn't be happier right now.

"Stop that ridiculous singing or learn professionally how to take proper notes, Don't ruin the song for everyone!" Isabella grumbled. 

On other days, I would have hit her back but now that she's pregnant,I can't help it but be tortured by her. 

"Hey! I sing good !"I replied.

"So Why are you dressing up?" she said. 

"I'm not dressing up. This is how I dress daily." I replied to her.

" You dress like this daily?" she mocked laugh. "Stop joking around, I might not live here anymore but you are still my little brother. Who are you trying to impress?" she said.

I could feel my cheeks heat up, there goes my cover. I hope she doesn't notice it but i think the chances of that are very slim. I move away and pick up the mess i created in my room, ignoring her question.

" Come on ! Tell me or I'll start digging up! For you to blush like that, they must be someone special" she mused."Oh oh ! Did you find your mate?" She asked.

"NOO!"I shouted in reflex, my wolf not liking the thought of someone else as our mate. Even though he likes Rachel, knowing she's not our mate he has reserved feelings for her. 

"I wish she was but she isn't. She's human, her father is a wolf, They just moved from Florida"I told her. 

"What's her name? What's she like? Tell me more !" she prompted and sat down on my bed.

"Well ... Her name is Rachel, she's really cute and is funny , you know. She likes to read and is good with sports. And best thing is she likes spicy food as well" I told her smiling.

"And the best part id she can eat spicy food?" she said

"Well, She's really really cute too" I said.

"Hahahaha , Do you know anything about this girl?" She said

"Yes! I just told you so many things , And I'm learning about her okay, We just went out once that too with Jess tagging along with her mate. She misses Florida and I'm her first boyfriend. Can you believe it ?"I told her .

" Oh Honey ! You are her first boyfriend ?" She asks me again looking at me disapprovingly.

"Yes, and why is that wrong?" I ask her.

" Think about the poor girl. What will you do when you find your mate? What if she falls for you? You'll break her heart." she says.

" You think I haven't thought of that? We aren't going to go that far. And she knows about wolves and the possibility of me finding mate. I don't want to hurt her, but I like her okay." I
 told her.

" I'm happy that you like someone, but you shouldn't be selfish like this. Surely, she'll get hurt , when you'll find your mate and not even care about her. Your whole world will revolve around you mate. Kids these days are too impatient to wait for their mate. Look at the Alpha!" she said.

"Hey! He's not virgin you know" I defended myself.

"He waited for his mate for three years before he gave in to his sexual needs. And he has stopped fooling around. Imagine yourself waiting for your mate for so many years." She defended the Alpha. 

It's true, I can't imagine waiting for my mate like this , this long. The Alpha is so loyal for his mate, he even went to look for her around the world. Everyone thought maybe his mate has already died in some war, but he refuses to believe it. 

"Whatever, Leave my room. I have to clean this mess. Help for the party at beach then go pick up Rachel as well"I told her hoping she'll leave me alone. 

It takes me an hour to clean my mess, even though  I didn't want to but I know my mother will kill me if she sees the mess. I head out to the pack house and eat lunch with my friends. 

Preparing for the bonfire, getting all the booze, blankets, wood and speakers was a lot of work that kept my mind busy. It was Jess who reminded me to leave or I'll be late. And I didn't want that, The only reason i'm helping these fools is because I'm excited for Rachel to see this.

I so want to kiss her, feel her soft lips against mine. Her plum body against me , feeling so tender. I like it when she tries hard not to smile and blush and fail miserably. I hope I get to kiss her lips again, feel her mouth , run my tongue against her neck. Just thinking about it makes me very excited.
