When I lost her, I did not think for a second that I would make it
The funeral was the worst part
Or maybe it was not the funeral itself but rather the thought of seeing her for the last time
Death is lonely
I don't know if it is hoping for them to come back or even just missing their laughter
For me it was all the emptiness she had left behind
especially the hole she left in my heart
Her room had always felt so warm and welcoming
Now I never even let my eyes fall in its direction
I wanted to leave with her, join her on her next journey, I still want to
And it stings in my heart when I think about it
Because we are still alive, but maybe just barely.
a/n : She loved space, she could study the stars for hours and hours. I decided to put in a picture of her favorite galaxy to remember her in a beautiful way.
