"So...how's life?" said Harry. I laughed at his poor attempt at conversation. We were sitting in my one room apartment over the shop. Allister had gone to get Stella.

"Life has been, interesting." I chuckled. I sat down on the edge of my bed. Harry was seated on my small loveseat with the brown haired girl. His red headed friend was leaning against fireplace, where a small fire was blazing.

I could see Harry looking at the crib were the twins were sleeping. I knew what he was thinking.

"They're Cedric's." I blurted out. Harry just nodded, he knew what I meant.

"They were born the day after Cedric..." I stopped. I lowered my gaze to the mug of hot chocolate in my hands.  After a minute I dared to look up. The brown haired girl was scrutinizing me. But the ginger was looking around, trying not to make eye contact with anybody.

"I'm sorry, but I don't remember your names." I asked them.

"Hermione Granger." said the girl. She still had a confused look on her face.

"Ron Weasley." said the ginger, still not meeting my face. He stared at the old wooden floors. An awkward silence filled the room. Only to be broken by Amos waking up with a cry. I ran over to their crib.

"Shhh mum's here." I cooed rocking him back and forth. They all watched me.

"This is Amos." I said trying to break the awkward silence. "Amos Cedric." I added. Harry gave me a sorrowful look.

"And that's Ebony Saturday." I nodded towards the crib were she was fast asleep. "It's family tradition for the girl's middle name to be the day she was born."  I explained. Ron and Hermione looked like they were extremely uncomfortable being here.

"Hermione" I said and her head snapped up "I think I have some books on Dragon Apples down in the store, if your interested." She jumped out of the chair and started towards the door, Ron followed her. "In the book room, the magical plants and herbs section." I yelled as they walked down the stairs.

I heard a faint "Um, thank you." from downstairs. I turned around and placed a now sleeping Amos back in the crib next to Ebony.  When I turned around Harry was standing in front of the fire staring at the flames.

"I'm so sorry Paulette" he said "I couldn't save him."

"Don't blame yourself!" I snapped. I stood next to him. The warmth of the fire radiating on me.

 "But-"

"Harry don't' blame yourself. I've been down that rode, and it's not pretty."
