What we know.

The Black Plague, also know as the black death started in Europe, 1347, and ended around the 1350s, the last known case was in 2011. The doctors wore their beaked mask because they put herbs and certain types of flowers for a much more pleasant smell when they were performing surgery on people who were unfortunately affected by the plague. They also had their darkly colored googles because they thought that the plague was caused by an evil spirit, so if they couldn't see it it wouldn't affected them. Their clothing was also mad of mostly wax leather and it was sealed shut so when they had for example; blood that carried the plague wouldn't get on them. They also had fabric tightly tucked onto their neck so they didn't get the plague on their neck. they also wore overalls underneath their large coat so it couldn't get underneath and they had the coat on to insure extra protection. They wore gloves to protect their hands. They had heavy, leather boots to protect their feet. They had a wands so they didn't need to have direct contact with their patient. Their methods of "curing" people is barbic, but I feel as if we can all learn more about the plague, such as learning about some of the victims, and  learn more about people behind people behind the mask, and we could learn how to stop it if their was such a possibility of it happening again, in which hopefully, it won't, but their are lesser known cases going on right now where someone is in their deathbed dying from the plague, we still know little to nothing about it, or how to cure it.  So, if you have any theories or any comments about any of this, (I will be putting much more information on other pages soon, this page was just to put out basic information.) then please, let me know.
