"Where am I going again?" Lydia asked, stepping out of the house with a suitcase in hand.

"I already told you!" Beetlejuice cheered. "You and Barbara are going to a resort for a week, get rid of that stress and sadness."

"I don't think a resort will fi-"

"Of course it will, shut up." BJ said absentmindedly, seeing the taxi at the end of the driveway.

Barbara stepped out after the two, dragging a bag behind her. BJ told her everything so she didn't question it, just walked out to the taxi. Lydia sighed and followed behind.

"Bye, BJ!" She yelled as she picked up speed to catch up to Barbara.

Adam stepped out in in PJs, having just woken up, and waved to the two. BJ threw an arm around his shoulders, having to levitate slightly to reach his arm up around the taller dead guy. Adam glanced at BJ before turning back to the now leaving taxi. They turned around, Adam pushing BJ's arm away, and went inside. BJ frowned and shut the door.

Beetlejuice was then hit with a new un-sinister, un-malicious, completely self-indulgent plan.

He slid up next to Adam, who was just about to sit down. He slid a hand into the back pocket of Adam's pants and pulled him up and close against BJ's chest.

"Well hey there, Adam." He growled, smirking and looking up into the taller man's eyes.

Adam jumped back and scowled. "Seriously? Barbara just left and you're already trying to hit on me again?"

BJ smiled and winked. Adam groaned and walked off, heading to his room. Hm. That's not his usual reaction. He usually jumps, then blushes, then Barbara walks in and he acts like nothing happened. BJ decided to follow him. Maybe he's hiding something from his dear old pal, BJ? How blasphemous!

BJ followed right behind Adam-- so close that if he breathed and were just a tad taller, Adam would feel the breath on his neck. The ghost stopped, causing BJ to bump into him. Adam swung around and knocked BJ back. The demon fell onto the floor and looked up at Adam, fear in his eyes. Adam has never been this, uh, violent.

"Leave me alone, Beetlejuice." Adam said sternly, though his voice cracked when he spoke that name.

"B-but, Ada-"

"Leave me alone!" Adam cried, running for his room and slamming the door.

BJ scooted back, tears brimming in his eyes. Adam has never yelled like that, or was mean to BJ. He was always just a shy, meek, maybe even adorable guy who never fought back. He jumped up and ran to his room, locking the door behind him.

What the hell is wrong with Adam? Is the problem... BJ? No, it can't be. Adam loves BJ-- they even kissed once! Well, twice, really, but since BJ initiated the first kiss it doesn't count. BJ closed his eyes and imagined their one true kiss. Adam yelled that he loved BJ and then he kissed him-- yeah, it was all a ploy so Lydia had a chance to stab BJ, but hey, Adam? He's too scared to just do something like that. BJ then thought about the first kiss, the one he started. He tricked Adam-- didn't expect him to actually fall for it, though-- and was smitten by his cuteness. He couldn't help himself!

"Oh my god, shit!" BJ cried out suddenly, collapsing against his desk.

He looked up at the mirror he had on the table. His hair was slowly turning from green to pink. Damn his hair! Stupid things always changing color with his mood. He laughed-- well, more of giggled-- and backed up. He was giddy and embarrassed and, and...

"I'm in love." BJ said quietly, he barely even heard himself. He giggled again and sunk down, chin resting on the edge of the desk. "Love love love. Adam, oh, how I love you."

BJ closed his eyes, lost in his thoughts for a moment, before realizing something. His eyes shot open and his hair was hit with streaks of red and blue. "Wait! Adam! He pushed me earlier! He hates me!"

He stood up and scowled. "Well if he hates me, then I'll hate him back! Take that, Adam Maitland!"

BJ grinned-- his hair fully turning red-- and threw open his door. "I'll even tell it to his face, how much I hate him!"

He bounded down the stairs, and into the living room. He ran to the bedroom door of the Maitland's and knocked on it harshly. "Let me in, Adam!"

He got no response so he threw open the door. Adam was in the middle of changing into normal clothes. BJ froze as he saw Adam's surprisingly toned torso. Holy shit, he's hot. Adam frowned and jumped forward, pushing the door closed again. BJ slowly turned around and took a deep breath. Shit, hating him will be harder than previously thought.
