Okay. So. It's been three days of Lydia and Barbara's week long break. These three days, in Beej's opinion, have been hell. And he's been there, so it's safe to say things have been bad. Adam's been so mean! He's been ignoring BJ and giving him the cold shoulder.

Now, Beej doesn't take lightly to being ignored. He's over the anger now, it's all sadness from here. He's all too used to being ignored, his mom did it all the time. He's been desperate to get attention, anything at all, from Adam.

BJ was also desperate to tell Adam how he felt about him. He was definitely in love, he knew that. But he was still confused, he also hated him? And considering Adam hated him back...

"I should try to talk to him." Beej mumbled, pulling a pillow to his chest.

He was curled up under nearly a dozen blankets and pillows. He rolled around some, pushing further into the pillows pile. He blindly reached out and grabbed his phone from the edge of the bed. He needed to talk to Adam. Now.

King BJ: hey adam? I need to talk to you

It was nearly ten minutes before he got a response, so he scooted around again and got comfy. He pushed the blanket back slightly-- revealing a bare chest and ripped up boxers that barely covered what they needed to. He poked his tummy, then his phone went off and he picked it back up.

ADog: what do you want

King BJ: a conversation? man to man, demon to ghost, pan to bi

ADog: ill meet you in your room. you get five minutes.

King BJ: thank you! you wont regret this!

Beej quickly hopped out of bed and cleaned up his room a bit. He managed to straighten the blankets and pillows before Adam came in. He didn't even knock! Adam glanced at BJ's torso, then stared at the floor.

"Hey Adam!" Beej cheered, trying to sound positive. Really, he was terrified. "So, uh, the things I wanted to talk about... Why don't we sit down?"

He gestured to the bed and sat down on it. His bed was up a bit high, so his feet dangled slightly over the floor. Adam walked closer, but didn't sit. "I'm fine standing."

"Okay then, your loss." Beej leaned back and propped himself up on his arms. "Now, what I've been meaning to say... Is that I hate you!"

BJ grinned brightly, showing off his sharp canines. Adam raised an eyebrow, but quickly lowered it and sighed. "Good for you."

He turned to leave, but BJ wouldn't have that. "Hey! You're not supposed to just leave! You're supposed to argue it! You're supposed to say 'I hate you too, Beej! I want you dead!' Where's your damn emotions, Adam!?"

Adam frowned, looking a bit threatened. "Bu-"

"No! This isn't right, dammit!" BJ's hair started turning fiery red at the tips. "You're supposed to be angry! You're supposed to be good and pissed! Where's the anger?! The sadness!? Where's the Adam that scared me? Me! The ghost with the most, the demon who's killed people with fear!"

"What are you getting at?" Adam asked, clearly irritated but surprised. "I don't hate you."

"Bullshit." BJ growled. "Look at how you've treated me. You've ignored me, pushed me away, locked me out. You've treated me like shit! And you know how I get! You know damn well how I deal with this! I was ignored by my mom for a hundred years! Then on earth for another hundred! Then I found you, and I fuckin' loved you, you hear me!? I was in love with you! And then you threw me overboard, just like everyone else!"

BJ jumped off the bed and stormed past Adam, slamming his hands down on his desk. "I've been ignored and abused for years, and I thought you were different! You were! You were!"

BJ let out a demonic scream and punched his mirror. It shattered instantly-- shards of glass busted off the frame and flew right through the two of them. BJ closed his eyes and leaned his head back, his hands balling into fists at his sides.

"B-Beej?" Adam asked, his voice barely a whisper.

BJ squeezed his eyes closed tighter and barred his teeth. "What?" He asked harshly, his voice cracking.

He leaned his head down. Adam stepped forward, outstretching his hand towards the shorter man's shoulder. BJ turned around before he could reach him and looked Adam in the eyes.

"Adam..."

Beetlejuice looked down, a tear falling from his eye. Adam gasped and rushed closer, taking BJ's hand in his own and using his other to pull his chin up. BJ's eyes sparkled a pretty brown and met Adam's own. Adam rubbed his thumb over BJ's cheek, wiping away the tears.

"I'm scared to lose you, Adam." BJ mumbled, leaning into the other's hand.

"I know, Beej." Adam leaned forward slightly, BJ's eyes closed.

And they kissed.
