'Pinky, I-'

She placed a finger on his lips, she didn't know how badly it turned him on. '...I really don't know what to. Do you have any other better advice you could give me? Your other advice is shit.'

She poured another glass of wine for each of them and held it in her hand mindlessly.

'Well, I've never gone to another dimension, so I can't give you much advice.' Brick said, he was really trying to help Blossom by scouring through the corners of his mind to find something, anything that would help.

'I guess maybe go to sleep earlier?' Brick mumbled as he looked up at the clock on his wall, which made Blossom look over too.

'Well, the wine wasn't any good anyway, just keep it.' She spoke in a hushed voice.

She stood up, ready to go. Blossom walked over to the window to prepare to fly home, and then she heard an unexpected slam, and an arm pulled her back.

'Shush don't talk, I think they're back.' Brick whispered into her ear, she could feel the heat in her ear, and it sent a chill down her spine.

Suddenly, Blossom heard a muffled shout from downstairs: 'Brick! We're back! If you're up there with Blossom...!'

Butch, of course, it was Butch.

'Fuck, you need to go.' Brick pushed her forwards towards the window.

'Woah!' She stumbled forwards, almost tripping but was caught by Brick. 'It's your turn to shush now! I've been working on a new trick. Watch.' Blossom muttered into his ear.

The door opened abruptly as Blossom crouched down, Butch stormed in, literally scanning the room whilst squinting.

'Fine, I guess you're Blossom-free.' Butch said as he stepped into the room.

Brick stared down in awe as Butch overlooked Blossom.

Blossom grinned and gestured for Brick to shut up.

Brick rolled his eyes in Blossom's direction, but all Butch saw was Brick rolling his eyes at thin air.

'Are you okay? Why are you smiling at thin air?' Butch waved an arm in front of Brick's fixed expression. Butch looked at the 'thin air' next to Brick and squinted even harder, but unable to see or sense Blossom's presence, he left.

Brick felt scared at how strong Blossom had developed her powers, and how Butch couldn't see her at all, even with X vision.

'Nothing babe!' Butch could be heard yelling down the stairs to a seemingly annoyed Buttercup, Blossom could tell from her sighing.

'DAMNIT! I JUST LOST 20 DOLLARS! TO YOU FUCKING BASTARD!'

Ah yes, there it was, Buttercup had obviously just lost a bet, how very very exciting.

Brick shut the door, much more muffled shouting was heard downstairs.

Blossom walked over to him, pulling him into a hug, which seemed to last forever until she pulled away.

'What if tonight's the last time I get to see you?' Blossom looked up at Brick, her candy-pink eyes staring at him.

Oh how much he wanted to-

No, that's inappropriate.

This is serious, and she wouldn't want to do that anyway.

And he respected that.

He held hands together with his, giving her silent comfort, they stood like that for a while.

Suddenly, Blossom tiptoed, bending a bit to kiss him.

He had been waiting long enough, he was gonna take the chance.

Now or never.

He kissed back hungrily without hesitation.

He held her in his arms, grateful for the moment, he wasn't going to let Blossom deter herself from the main objective of her mission.

This is was potentially his last chance, even if he didn't want it to be.

She meant so much to him, even if she didn't really acknowledge it. She was the one who got him out of being a bad guy, she was the one who was always nice to him, no matter what he was, bad or good.

Stop the Punks, get out, get back safe, in one piece.

Easy.

Right?
