Although there were almost no segregation in people based on their secondary genders in the current social construct that Jimin had the opportunity to be born, there was still a subtle impression left. Gone were the days where alphas were seen at the top of the food chain with betas being the workers and omegas only seen as baby carrying machines, but there was still an invisible division. By law, everyone was equal and had the same opportunities but if you look closely, you'll find that most of the company heirs are still alphas, they were employed in technical fields and management, majority of the political figures were still alphas while omegas made the huge percentage of teachers, nurses, caretakers and betas were in between. Most of them weren't forced to pick their line of job but it was what it was.
Maybe it made sense biologically, omegas are believed to have more nurturing instincts than the other two.
Jimin never understood science that much but it made sense to him or how else without the nurturing instinct would you carry a child inside you for nine months. But he was thankful to evolution that the animal instincts like heat, rut, scent etc... inside them were next to none. The concepts were still there but it wasn't as bad as they described in some fictions. Simply, the fertility rate increased in those days and it was only important for omegas that kept track of them if they wanted to have children, otherwise it was like any other day. So, Jimin never bothered with them. He was always careful during his college life and after that he was in no serious relationship and judging by the way his marriage was going, he might never require to bother with it ever.
" Hey...! earth to Jimin..? Care to share?"
Hoseok's voice pulled him out of the reviere. How did his brain reached those thoughts he would never understand.
"Nothing.. just dozed off I guess.."
"Really? But you can talk to me okay... on anything.. I am here whenever you need.."
Jimin smiled back as Hoseok spoke putting emphasis on anything and whenever. He was glad to have a friend like him but there wasn't much to share.
"Okay...! I will... but everything is fine now.."
"Okay then... I was here to talk about business actually."

"Push that meeting for tomorrow.. I have to pick Soobin up at that time..."
Min Yoongi raised his eyebrows glancing towards Namjoon sitting on his side. It wasn't the first time Jungkook was pushing things around for his son but that had declined after he got married with Park Jimin.
"So that's it... I don't have anything more for you today hyung.. you can sit for coffee if you want.."
Yoongi had enough work experience with Jungkook to know that it was his polite way of asking him to leave.
"Yeah.. no.. I have some work to do.. and I'll ask my secretary to reschedule.. don't worry.."
"Trouble in paradise huh?" He asked once both him and Namjoon left the chamber.
"There is no paradise anymore hyung.. Taehyung took everything with him..."
Yoongi didn't quite grasp what Namjoon was telling him so he quietly waited for more.
"It's just Soobin is the barrier that is keeping him from turning into a machine.. I actually proposed him to pick Soobin up everyday, otherwise I don't know hyung... just worries me a lot.."
"What about Jimin? He is good looking... well objectively.." Yoongi was at loss of words but Namjoon got the clue.
"I don't know... I don't think they even interact with one another if not about Soobin. He is still not over Taehyung and might never be.. we all knew that it would take time but I think he is still stuck where he was two years ago..."
