Family is very important. When I saw the piece of paper I noticed what it was. It was a picture of our family. Me, Natsuo, Fuyumi, mom, shouto, and dad. And even in that photo he was not smiling.
I looked at it for a while and then he said something that was different than I expected him to say.
"Do you remember when we took this photo?"
I did remember very well when we took that photo. It was Fuyumi's 5th birthday. Two weeks and three days before I left. I have always wondered what would have happened if I hadn't left. I brushed it aside and shook my head yes without looking at him.
