Draco walked through into the room of requirement. The walls were stone and had black, orange and purple streamers. Jack-o-lanterns were floating mid air.

As he and his friends stepped in it became hushed. Heads turned but not in a good way. Draco was about to turn and leave when Pansy grabbed his arm and said, "It's okay," he believed her.

Ron was done with the silence so he went to the mic on the stage and said, "HEY EVERYBODY," he yelled enthusiastically, "WHATS TOMORROW?"

The anniversary of my parents death maybe? Harry thought. He kind of hated Halloween for that. It was the day when he was blessed with the life he had. He's much rather just be a normal wizard.

"HALLOWEEN," everyone responded. The party was the day before Halloween so everyone could make it to the feast.

Music was blasting and everyone was dancing again. The blond was sitting in the corner when Harry approached him.

"Didn't realize you were the party type Malfoy!"

"Didn't realize you were the alcohol type Potter,"

"Harry? What are you doing with this traitor?" A 8th year Ravenclaw (pureblood) named Arissa McDovman said, "Don't you remember what he did?"

Draco's fists tensed up this cheating gold digger! He thought. But before he could say anything, "Don't you have something to do?" Harry asked.

"I'm trying to protect you Harry! His father-"

"What does his father have to do with this?
They are two different people!"

"He joined them!" She whispered. At this point Harry was pissed. He was visibly angry.

"Harry, he has the goddamn mark on his arm! He's just a-a-a cheating lying traitor!"

"Last time I checked, Arissa," Draco spoke up, "You cheated on me. Am I wrong?" That's when it dawned on Harry, that's why she hated him so much, it's his ex!

Arissa went red embarrassed. The room was quiet at this point. She noticed everyone staring at her and stormed off.

Harry was in shock, Arissa always seemed quite composed but that seemed, a bit much.

"I'm sorry Draco," Harry said turning around to face his again when he saw he was gone. "Huh.."

Ron came back on the speaker, "It is 11:45 and almost midnight! Get the bass cranking!" Harry darted from the room knowing just where he will be. The Astronomy Tower.

"Draco?" Harry called out. It was now 11:50 and Harry was exhausted. "Draco?!"

"Funny how we keep ending up in this situation, Potter.." Draco murmured. His pale skin shone in the moonlight. He was smiling but it looked forced, his eyes were puffy and his cheeks were wet.

"Are you okay?" Harry asked.

"What do you think Potter? I'm a mess, and she's right so I don't know why you're still talking to me!"

It was deadly silent for a minute until Harry broke in, "I saw it happen."

"Saw what?" Draco demanded.

"You, getting that," Harry pointed to Draco's arm, "Every second. I've been seeing a lot of Riddle's old memories, he's gone for sure, I- I just been seeing things."

"You saw nothing Potter!"

"I have,"

"Prove it!"

"You passed out, you cried and begged for mercy! You thought you were dying!"

Draco closed his eyes for a moment and winced. "Tell no one, please Harry," Draco pleaded.

"I won't"

It grew silent once more. "Harry?" Draco said.

"Yes?" Harry replied.

"Can you teach me parseltongue?"
