Y/N heard her alarm screaming, interrupting her peaceful sleep and reminding her the next day of school. Groaning, she slumped her hand over and yawned, waking up. After feeling her eyes focusing, she stared at the ceiling, finding the bland color of it entertaining.

Y/N had been attending skool here for a month already, and has traded by hanging out with Zim and Dib every now and then. Most of the time when hanging out with Zim, has usually ended up in them bonding over small little things, like teaching him simple human items to just talking about earth itself! Grant it, Y/N knew he was an alien, but still found it adorable how he would ask simple human knowledge questions! What happened between the two soon passed over and Zim swore to not to do what he did again. Y/N, however, felt like the more she hung out with Zim, the more she was falling for him!

Oh, the weird ways on how crushes work!

and little did she know, Zim felt the same way, and to him, the way to be honest with her is by showing her his true self. That he's an alien! He trusts her enough since they hang out a lot and have gotten to know each other too!

Maybe today is finally that day.

"I can't believe i've been here already for a month." she felt her thoughts bleed into her brain. She breathed and got up towards her closet, revealing her closet filled with colorful clothes. She chose a red flannel with a blue shirt, blue jeans/skirt, and Converses. Grabbing her book bag, she made her way downstairs like yesterday and once more, saw her mom in the kitchen, smiling at her daughter's presence.

"Hi, honey! How did you sleep?" Y/N's mom said with glee, giving Y/N a piece of toast, to which the girl reluctantly agreed. "It was alright...I'm just tired is all.." Y/N lied through her teeth.

"Well, honey. It'll be okay! You have Dib and Zim to hang out with, remember?" The girl's mother spoke once more. Y/N let out a sigh and nodded. "I'm gonna go ahead and go to school, Mom. I love you." Y/N spoke. Y/N's mother, although taken aback by the straightforward comment, quickly smiled and let her daughter go with a hug.

"Have a good day honey." She spoke. Y/N smiled and looked back at her mother. "I will Mom. I will."

Y/N's POV

I made my way towards the school, with the walk being the same as every day was. Walking up the steps, I made my way towards my locker, getting my belongings, and heading to Ms. Bitters' room. What's strange is that usually, you would see Zim sitting at his desk, but when I opened the door, he wasn't there.

I shrugged my shoulders and walked to my desk, sitting down. The class was the same as always. Ms. Bitters talks about how the world is just doomed from the start and how we humans are just doomed. It got boring pretty fast as usual.

Suddenly, I felt someone tap on my shoulder. Looking over, I saw Dib. I sighed and looked at him.

"What now Dib?" I spoke quietly. Dib looked at me and spoke. "Hey Y/N...Did Zim do anything to you yesterday when you two hung out!?"

Not only has Dib become protective of you over Zim, Zim had started doing the same to Y/N over Dib!

Y/N found it cute, but annoying. some days it was a literal tug of war match.

I sighed. "Well..yesterday...I was with Zim and...-" I was cut off by a loud bang of the door. Turning around, I saw Zim himself. He had the signature smirk on his face and spoke in a very obnoxiously loud voice.

"The Zim has returned!" The whole class stared at him as he made his way toward his desk and sat down. He turned and gave me a wave. I waved back.

Zim sat down like nothing happened and class continued with Ms. Bitters talking once more about doom. It was so unbelievably boring too...until Dib started the conversation again.

"Well...? What happened...?" Dib asked, making me remember what happened yesterday. I sighed and turned around to face him, batting Zim a glance to make sure he wasn't eavesdropping.

"Well...yesterday..I...uh.." I stuttered. I just couldn't let it out. Suddenly, Dib shouted, "Just tell me already!" I was startled and Ms. Bitters stopped and spoke. "Dib! Can't you see I'm trying to teach these children a lesson? Or would you rather go to detention? I can see that Y/N is also talking." My face lit up in red from embarrassment and I turned back around. I quietly spoke. "S-sorry Ms. Bitters..."

I heard the teacher grunt in response and continued. I looked back and gave Dib a Sign that I'll tell him later.

For just hanging out with Zim, he acted like Zim did something horrible to me or something.

~Time Skip to lunch~

I got my lunch from the line and was on my way toward Zim's table when I noticed Dib waving over to me. I looked and saw him and his sister. I sighed and reluctantly sat with Dib. I felt bad for leaving Zim alone, especially since Zim might freak out on Dib again like he did all the time.

"Hey Y/N!" Dib said. I smiled and sat next to him. "I'm sorry for making you embarrassed...I'm a bit impulsive when it comes to supernatural stuff.." Dib sounded defeated and I gave him a painful smile. "It's okay. Just try not to be too impulsive." Dib smiled and took a bit of his food. "So...I guess I'm not to only one who thinks my brother is crazy." Gaz spoke, not looking from her game. I giggled at her response and Dib quickly interfered.

"Anyways, Y/N. Tell me what happened..." Dib quickly spoke.

This guy really is focused on stuff like this.

I took a breath and relaxed. I began. "Well, yesterday, I decided to hang out at Zim's house as i usually do when im not over yours! and we just talked!!". I said. Dib shook his head and sighed defeated it. "sure, whatever."

I didn't even realize that Dib was so into this stuff. The only thing I wish I would've known is that someone was eavesdropping very closely on our conversation.

There was Zim, being over protective, as always!

(Sorry for the inactivity! I was busy with Halloween. But now I'm back!)
