Love Is Love

Right, little disclaimer:
I am STRAIGHT. So I don't really know what it's like to come out. I mean, I have A LOT of friends that are part of the LGBTQ+ and they still haven't come out to their parents! So I'm kind of taking inspiration from their. Although, for a while, I did feel like, "perhaps I'm bi?" But I'm not, so yeah! I don't mean to offend anyone, just an fyi, I hope I don't anyway! ❤️

Nathaniel and Marc sit together to talk at break.
"I'm sorry Nathaniel-"
"No, I'm sorry! I should've thought about what you wanted. I mean, I really did want to come out but, I know you're not. Imagine what they would've said... the guy that fell in love with Marinette, then fell in love with Ladybug, then comes out that he's gay. And I was worried for you because I thought they would've put two and two together and that would've ended up with you being forced to come out and-"
"Ok, ok," Marc laughs, "I understand...but...now we are both out of the good old closet..."
They look at each other and laugh.

The two walk over to the group of friends.
"Hey guys!"
"Umm..." Marc blushes slightly, "so, you guys probably know about us..."
"No...what's up guys?"
The two look at each other.
"You don't have to pretend guys."
"Umm...we really don't know..."
They frustratedly sigh, "COME ON! You know! That..."
Marc looks at Nathaniel and nods shyly.
"We're, umm, gay..."
Everyone smiles. They stand up and circle the boys.
"Umm...guys?"
"GROUP HUG!" Marinette squeals as everyone embraces the two into a massive hug. The two boys let out a sigh of relief.
"How long have you guys been together?"
"Umm...2 months..."
"How adorable! Why didn't you tell us?"
"We were so worried!" Nathaniel laughs, relieved.
Marc shyly smiles, "yeah..."
"Why? You know we care for you both! Nothing would change that!" Chloe smiles.
Nathaniel and Marc nervously say, "well, we were actually worried about what you would've thought."
There is silence.
"Oh...I see..."
One year and nothing's changed... people still see me as someone horrible and judgemental...
Everyone sits down and Chloe quietly says, "I'm...going to go to class..."
Luka reaches for her hand, "would you like me to come?"
She shakes her head then feels tears fall down her face.
"Chloe. I'm coming," Luka says.
She nods softly and then pulls him to the classroom. It was empty. Collapsing at her seat, she cries into his chest as he holds her.
"What's wrong?"
She shakes her head and cries.
He hugs her tight, kissing her forehead.
Wrapping her arms around him, she mumbles, "why doesn't anyone think I could be nice?"
"I don't think you're nice...I think you're amazing. I told you Chloe... I love you..."
Whilst Chloe and Luka cuddle and talk at Chloe's desk, the class had their ears against the door, listening to their conversation.
"He said that he loves her!" Rose squeals.
The class gasp.

"And...I love you too Luka..."

"She said she loves him back!"
Everyone coos.
"What is going on here?"
The class at the door turn around and see Miss Bustier.
They motion to her to be quiet and say, "Chloe and Luka are having a romantic talk!"
Miss Bustier smiles, "I love that you love your classmate's love life but is this right?"
"...no Miss Bustier..." they reply.
Miss Bustier smiles and then peeks through the window.
"How adorable..."
Everyone joins.

"Chloe..."
"Mmm?"
"I hope you know," he sits up and cups her cheek, wiping a tear with his thumb, "that...you're so much better than the beginning...when I first met you, you were fragile...not bad...not not nice...you just didn't know how to be good...it's not your fault, it's no one's fault..."
He pushes her hair that had come loose and she instinctively knows what he is about to do. Leaning in, he kisses her as she turns slightly towards him, deepening the kiss...

The class gasp and look away. Miss Bustier giggles as she looks away as well.
"Well, Chloe is certainly smitten for him!"
"He's deeply in love with her as well!" Juleka says, "at home, he keeps talking about her and saying she's beautiful and two nights ago, he went to tell her he loved her back after she said it to him...blergh, I have seen him like that ever! Not even with Marinette!"
Marinette blushes, "well, they really do have a deep connection..."
Just then the door opens and everyone looks up to see them two looking at all of them.
"What are you doing?"
"We were waiting for you two to finish!" Sabrina beams.
Luka turns to Chloe, "I'll see you later?"
"Lunch," she kisses him again and he smiles. Everyone watches as they pull away and Chloe smiles as she watches him walk away, clutching onto the doorframe to gain balance.
"Ok Chloe, come on!"
She sighs contently, "ok..."
As she sits down, she thinks to herself. No matter what the world thinks of me...Luka will always be there for me...I hope...oh god what if we break up? Then I'll have nothing to hold onto...no one special to give me kisses and make me feel special...I have to keep him AT ALL COSTS...
As she thought these thoughts that she thought, her facial expression went from happy, to sad, to worried, to serious.
"Chloe? Are you alright-"
"YEAH I'M FINE!" She blurts awkwardly.
...
"Ok?"

Ok, so my GCSE mock exams start tomorrow so 😔✊ I'll probably find some time to write but they're until next Wednesday so over a week of exams yayyyy (not) 😑
