The time is 5:04a.m. My aunt, uncle and myself are awake ready to start our daily routine. My uncle is the first one who wakes up an hour earlier and gets ready for work while my aunt and I make breakfast/lunch for the kiddos. You might of thought it was just the three of us, well, lets just say theres more birds in this nest. By the time we all finish breakfast my aunt packed lunch for my uncle and sent him on his way. While she wakes her youngest kids up, I take a shower and get ready for school. Every morning it's a constant war for who gets the bathroom first, which is odd because I'm the only teenage girl here and apparently my other cousins who are boys, like the feeling of being clean. I'm not saying that boys aren't clean but in that department us females win. So, guys, sorry not sorry. Its always me, then my cousin Aron and Alan. Once we're all ready we each head out the door leaving the apartment completely quiet for the rest of the morning.

I "walk" to school, but before I go to my spot I walk with Aron to the bus station and wait with him till he gets in and make sure he doesn't go back to the house. Sending him on his way, I am alone and can go to school my way. There's been times where my aunt Eli or sometimes Alan see me walking to an abandoned building by where we live and ask me where I'm going. Because I don't and can't tell them my true reason I always tell them that my friend is gonna give me a ride and I'll meet them there, my friends are sophomores, of course they don't own a damm car. They kinda know because I've taught them in the past. And by past I mean they're freshman year. Why, I don't know but they insisted. I get to school and meet them at the cafeteria and wait till the bell rings for first period. Some of us sleep, be on our phones, do homework or their makeup, eat breakfast or just talk about the recent gossip going around campus. Our rule is whoever gets to the cafeteria first they must save. our. spot. If I could I would always save our table my way. But because of recent incidents of almost getting caught by my family I'd rather not risk it at my school, cameras everywhere and that equals to everyone seeing my gift.

I go to all my classes, considering that I have all my credits and just have to attend school in the morning and I'm good. How? I don't know. My school is known for messing up schedules than accomplishing other things. Since I only have five classes, Calculus, English IV, Anatomy, Government and Art. After lunch I go with Mrs. Tyson and help her with anything she needs done. Mrs. Tyson is an older lady who lives in the San Fernando Valley, but since she's living alone and only gets visited by her kids and grandkids twice a year, it's hard for her to keep company and do her daily routine around her house. Yes she might be a stranger, but according to her I've made her life not easier, but less of a dismal. Then, I go home and have exactly an hour to myself before everyone comes back from work and school. Every morning is a constant rush hour, getting ready, getting the kids ready, leaving the house and be on time. But we always miss one thing, leaving the place clean. Just so that my aunt has less on her plate I clean the entire apartment, the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and rooms. Just making sure everything is in its place, me and Aron made a rule because we all share one room, to leave our beds made and keep everything put away and clean as possible. Which we've been doing quite well actually, as for Alan, not so much. He's twenty-one years old and only cares about his job, money, and his girlfriend. Leaving his corner the complete opposite of mine and Aron. I gave up on maintaining his part of the land clean years ago, only focused on the rest. By the time I'm done I have about less than twenty minutes to spare for myself. I either draw, read a book, go on Journaly and read fanfiction, or, practice. My instrument is very special to me. It's been with me for as long as I can remember and has became a part of me. In a way, it's a blessing, but for what exactly? Questions unanswered and my hidden gift has been a weight on my shoulders I've grown tired of. Not only do I want answers, but it wouldn't hurt to have one person in this big universe to know my secret.

My name is Veronica, and I have the ability of teleportation.
