Truth or Dare

COINY'S POV

I was standing next to Pin, analyzing the map in my hands. It has been awhile and I was looking for places that look interesting on it. There were a lot to choose from. "Do you see anywhere we could go that'd be cool?" Pin asked me. I sighed, "No, all of these places look dull, but then again, it's just a map, not much details on it." I folded the map, waving it around a bit as I talked. "True, plus who knows how old it is, all of those places are probably changed by now." Pin added. "that's true, too." I opened the map again, this time just trying to see which one's closest. Every now and then I'd watch Pin as she steered the boat. She was so good at it, despite never doing it before. Pin is good at doing a lot of stuff. She looked over at me and I quickly looked back at the map acting like I never stared at her. "Everything good?" she asked. "Uh, yeah, I'm fine, why'd ya ask?" I continue to look at my map awkwardly, not wanting to look back at her now. "Well, you looked nervous, so I just wanted to ask." Pin said. I guess she didn't notice that I was looking at her.

As time passed, I could hear what I could only imagine as the others playing around on the deck. It sounded fun, they were laughing and everything. I glanced over to them a few times, I think they were playing tag. After awhile, we suddenly hear a loud crash and then yelling from Snowball, "LEAFY! YOU NEED TO WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" I looked over the railing to see the commotion. "I'm sorry, Snowball, I didn't mean to!" Leafy apologized. Pin seemed to have wondered what happened too. "Coiny, what happened?" She asked me. " I don't know, I'll go check." When i made it to the bottom of the stairs I saw a bunch of yoyle berries scattered on the floor. Seems that a few of the yoyle berry containers got knocked down. Maybe Pin and I shouldn't have put the containers in a pile up here. I fix my attention onto Snowball, whom had Leafy backed up into a corner. He had a yoyle berry stuck in his snow somehow. There was a bunch of yelling coming from that corner. I noticed that the others were just crowded together watching it happen. I hurriedly run in between Snowball and Leafy before anything drastic happens.

"Woah, woah, what happened?" I asked. "Leafy and those other dummies were playing that stupid game while I was just minding my own business, sitting over there," He pointed over to the area with the knocked down containers, "When Leafy just knocks a bunch of yoyle berries onto me!" Snowball snarled, glaring at the shaking leaf.
"It was on accident!" Leafy exclaimed.
"You seem to be doing a lot of things by accident, Leafy." I say sternly.
"Actually, uh," Firey interrupted, "I kind of slapped her when I meant to tag her, which knocked her into the yoyle berries. It was probably reflexes from all those times I used to slap you." He joked. "Ha ha, funny."  I responded sarcastically, "Well, it doesn't really matter, let's just clean up this yoyle berry mess." I say, taking the yoyle berry off of Snowball's snow. "That's not my job." Snowball remarked as he walked away. "Yeaaaah.. that's a no can do from me too." Flower agreed, stepping back a few paces. So then, everyone except Snowball and Flower helped pick up the mess. After that was done, I decided to put the yoyle berries into the galley downstairs.

PIN'S POV

After whatever happened with Snowball and Leafy was dealt with, Coiny came back up next me and sat on the floor with a sigh. "This day has barely started and there is already so much stress!" Coiny complained. "I know," I chuckled, "I guess that's the life of a pirate." I remarked. He laughed and stood up again. "I guess so." He looked back at the map. I then, heard coiny gasp. I looked over at him. "What is it?" He showed me the map, "What if we go to this island!" He pointed to a pretty small island on it. "Oh, sure." I turn the wheel to the direction of the island. "What's so special about it that makes you want to go?" I wondered out loud. The island didn't look particularly interesting to me, but his gasp made it seem so. "Oh, nothing really," He looked back at the map, "I just remembered that I pointed to this island when we first looked at it together." Coiny explained. "Aw," I cooed, "That's nice." I focus my attention back on the sea. "Well, since it's the smallest on the map, we should go from smallest to biggest." I say. "Augh! This feels just like those adventure shows I watch on TV, when he lets me!" Coiny exclaimed. I snickered. "Yeah, I'm pretty excited for this too!" I say.

After a moment of silence I look at Coiny. "So, what happened down there?" I inquired. "Oh, Leafy just accidentally knocked over a container of yoyle berries onto Snowball while she and the others were playing tag." He told me. "Is this the second thing Leafy has accidentally done today?" I remarked.
"mmmhm."
"Thought so." I shake my head, "What are they all doing now?" Coiny looked over the railing at them. "They aren't doing anything, they all look pretty bored." He said. "Oh, they must think they can't play or something because of that." I realized. I peer over the railing, still holding onto the wheel with my left hand.  "Uh, hey, everyone, you guys can still play games if you're bored! Just....don't run around for right now!" I announced.

NEEDLE'S POV

When Pin said we could still play games, Ruby gasped. "Omg! We should totally play Truth or Dare!" She said. "Holy aphid, we should! I haven't played Truth or Dare in forever!" Flower spoke excitedly. Well, there isn't really anything else to do. "Sure I'll play too." I shrugged. Leafy and Firey also agree to play. We all guessed that Snowball isn't going to partake. "I'll go first!" Flower yelled, raising a hand. She then turned to Ruby. "Truth or dare?" Ruby didn't even think, she just yelled, "Dare!" Flower thought for a moment. "I dare you to... call me beautiful!" Flower commanded, with a smug grin. Some of us groaned. "Of course she'd dare that." I say. "Easy peezy! You're beautiful!" Ruby said gleefully. "Thank you, I know I am!" Flower said, placing her hand on her face with a smile. "Okay, okay, my turn," Ruby turned to leafy, "Leafy, truth or dare?" She asked. "Oh, uh, truth!" Leafy replied. "Is it true that you ship your friends?" Ruby giggled. I rolled my eyes at this question. Leafy laughed, "Yeah, a little, I do." Leafy admitted, although it wasn't much of surprise. "Me too!" Ruby squealed.

"Can we actually play the game?" I asked, getting annoyed with the how the game's going. "Okay, sorry! Now," Leafy turned, "Truth or dare, Firey?" She asked. "Dare!" He said confidently. "I dare you to..." Leafy looked around for an idea. She gasped and smiled, "I dare you to go up to Coiny and Pin..." She paused for suspense. We all looked at her curiously, Firey especially since he was the one about to do whatever Leafy says. "...And call them a cute couple!" She finished. You've gotta be kidding me. "What kind of dare is that?!" I yelled. I mentally slapped myself, because I knew right after I said that, that Leafy was gonna go and be like 'Oh you're just jealous because you like Coiny!' or something. Even though it's not like that! "Oh you're just jealous because you like Coiny!" Leafy claimed. Called it. "No I don't, it's just-" I took a sharp breath, "You know what, I don't care just do it." I sighed. I really didn't like Coiny like that anymore, it's just that it's literally a dumb dare. Why not tell him to do something difficult, like climb up to the first sail on the boat, or something more interesting. Firey just rolled his eyes, "C'mon, give me something else!" Leafy shook her head, "Ah, ah! I dared you, it's the rules!" He just gave a very loud sigh in response and slowly started to walk up to Coiny and Pin. "Act like you thought of it yourself when saying it!" Leafy added. Firey shook his head, annoyed while walked up to them. We followed behind and peeked to watch.

"Yo." He greeted with a fake smile and a wave. They look at him. "Hey bro!" Coiny responded, while Pin just waved back. Firey glanced back at us before speaking, "Y'know, you two look like a cute couple." Firey said, fairly convincingly. They both blushed. I heard Leafy and Ruby giggling together, while I just frankly felt bad. "WUH- DUH—WHAT?" Pin sputtered. "FIREY???" Coiny had shouted. Firey just kinda laughed at the way they reacted and started to walk back down the stairs. The rest of us decided it was a good time to head back to our spot to be out of the way. "NUH-UH FIREY, COME BACK HERE!" Coiny shoved the map he was holding into Pin's arms and started to run after Firey. Firey immediately booked it. We all watched as Coiny chased Firey around the ship. I knew this dare was dumb.
