Nico and Laura settled to have a walk in the park nearby at habang naglalakad sila ramdam ang namumuong tensyon between them they both don't know what to say.
Nico broke the silence first.
"So how are you now Laura? After 3 years i haven't heard anything about you.
Saad nito.
She looked at him in the eye. magmula kasi ng magkahiwalay sila wala na din siyang narinig mula dito even if once she also tried to look for him in social media but she couldn't find him.

"Well Im fine.you see eto na yung break na matagal ko ng hinihintay Im happy for what I have right now. She answered and again silence all over.
"Masaya ka ba sa kanya? I mean your boyfriend? Tanong nito ulit na nakapagpatigil sa kanya,why is he asking her that kind of a question na as if may nakaraan sila nito.
"Bakit mo tinatanong yan? Do I look miserable this time? Patanong na sagot niya dito.
"Oppps no,,no Im sorry if I get you offended. He said na napabuntong hininga pa.
"Ikaw asan ang girlfriend mo.? You should be with her right now not with me... pag iiba na lang niya ng topic nila.
"I don't have a girlfriend Laura. In fact I have someone in my heart 3 years ago but haven't got any chance to tell her coz that time I was at the peak of achieving my goals and so I think that kahit anong oras mababalikan ko siya, but I was totally wrong coz now she had somebody. Mahabang saad nito and that makes her confused,. Why is that hes telling her right now siya ba ang tinutukoy nito.
"Im sorry for that Nico. I-I think we should go now.
Yakag niya dito pero nagulat siya ng pigilan siya nito sa braso.
"I have liked you ever since we first met Laura. And when we got abducted I was fuckin damn to protect you from them. You are so sweet and damn beautiful inside and out that I couldn't help myself from wanting you. But I am so stupid to just let you go without me telling what I really felt for you and now it's too late you have somebody to love. Please tell me you are happy with him and I let you go now.
"Whats this Nico? Why are you telling me all this now. Are you playing games with me? Naguguluhang tanong niya dito.

"Seryoso ako Laura totoo ang sinasabi ko. Siguro nga were not meant for each other.so just forget about it.
Lets go. Tugon nito na nagpatiuna ng maglakad.

Umuwi silang walang kibuan sa isat isa she can feel the tension between them. Nung makababa siya sa sasakyan nito ay nagpaalam na lang siya dito at umalis na din ito.

After that night she never heard anything again from him. Maybe na realize din nitong its not worth wasting his time on her.

One day ipinatawag siya ng head nila sa station at gusto siya iassign sa gagawin nilang outreach at operation sagip kabataan na inorganize ng isa nilang advertiser at gusto nilang ang mga staff mismo ng station ang pumunta para magbigay ng tulong sa mga kapos palad na mga kabataan na naapektuhan sa gulo na gawa ng mga rebeldeng NPA.
