Chapter 4

Sitting here at work I am caught in a day dream. I usually don't day dream while I'm at work but today I can't help it. Ace told me that he would be coming to workout with me and Nate, I just hope he is ready because I don't mess around when it comes to working out. It is one of my favorite things to do and anyone that stops me from doing it is immediately on my bad side. Working out over the years is what kept me going, if I couldn't have worked out who knows where I'd be right now. I have 2 hours left of my shift then I am meeting Ace and Nate at the gym.

SHIT I NEED TO TELL NATE THAT ACE IS COMING!

I grab my phone and message Nate, "Hey, Ace is going to come work out with us tonight."

"Okay, as long as I get to spar with him." Nate responds to me

"Nate, go easy on him. We don't know the kind of training that he has or hasn't gotten over the years."

"I will, I just want to see what he can do, because just looking you can tell that he works out."

"Ugh, whatever I'll see you tonight."

"Bye sis, love ya."

2 hours later

Finally, I can go to the gym. As I walking to the gym, I can feel someone walking behind me. They are following me. I take a quick turn and hide against the wall, as the unknown person comes around the corner, I swing my foot up and knock the person to the ground.

"GOD DAMN IT, can you stop doing that. You've given me more bruises this week than I've gotten in a month." the voice yells up to me. I recognize the voice.... ACE.

"Well, don't stalk me then." I reply with a smirk on my face.

"I wasn't stalking you I was simply just walking behind you."

"You like getting your ass kicked, don't you?"

"Not particularly. I do want to spar you though. Seems like it'll be fun."

"Sorry, but Nate has already claimed first round with you." I tell him as I help him up. "Come on, we are almost there."

As we arrive at the building, Nate is already inside warming up.

"Thanks for waiting, asshole." I yell at Nate.

"That's what you get for taking so long." He replies as he finishes stretching out. "Well go get dressed. It's time for sparring."

As I get back from the dressing room, Nate and Ace are already in the ring getting ready.

"NATE, GO EASY. I'll kick your ass if you hurt him and he's not on your level." I holler at Nate. Nate just smiles back, oohh am I going to kick his ass after he's done.

"Don't worry about me, I can hold my own." Ace tells me. Somehow, I feel like I said be telling Ace to go easy on Nate not the other way around.

The fight as begun, and you can easily tell that Ace and Nate are evenly matched. First couple minutes they were figuring out each other's moves, now they are making contact and fighting full on. Nate is strong and quick, but it looks like Ace is better.

Minutes later

Nate is on the ground. Ace beat him. I am shocked. Although Nate gave in it was a tie. Both boys were hurting and exhausted.

"Damn good one." Nate tells Ace as he stands up. "I haven't fought anyone like that in a long time, aside from Skylar."

"You are good, but every now and then you show what you are going to do which allowed me to counter attack so easy." Ace advises Nate.

"Well I guess I'll have to work on that." Nate thanks Ace with a head nod.

"Wanna spar me now?" Ace looks at me

"You just finished one and you are ready to go again??" I reply shocked

"I'm fine, let's go." Ace leads me into the arena. "Ready when you are."

We circle each other for a few then I dive at Ace. I am smaller and much faster than Nate, so Ace didn't expect it. I have slightly better reflexes than Nate so dodging Ace was easy. Fight Ace is like fight a slow giant. I hit him with kicks and punches to his ribs and he collapses. He gets back up and lands quite a few hits, his hits are nice either. I finally strike him with enough power to knock him on his back, after 3 pats, I win.

"Ouch, holy fuck you are feisty." Ace winces as he gets up.

"I told you I love working out. You are just too slow." I giggle as I help him finish getting up.

"Now I can see why Nate is so quick on his feet. If I had to spar you often, I'd learn." Ace pops off.

"Hey now, don't hate on us." Nate yells back, he already changed.

"We ready to leave then?" I asked both the boys. They both nod at me. We get outside and go our separate ways.
