Damon POV:

"The baby is fine and in good condition."
"Oh for liaison sake ......That's good" talia said with relief.
Riley was bitting her nails in the corner while Nat was focused on the screening.
"I knew I shouldn't have let her go alone it all my fault." Talia kept beating her self up about letting nahara make a portal home.
"It's not your fault T stop saying that, it was just to much going on at once-"
I cut Natalie off.
"The gryphons was a distraction, they planned this and in return they either wanted to kill nahara or capture her.
Someone leaked her location and the safe house."
They all looked at each other.

"Now to the cause of her arm... shadow touch?" Doc asked.
"Yea I figured that one out."
"This shadow demon was burnt by her after she used her demon powers her body is burning. She almost burnt me."

"Why didn't it burn Damon or me ?" Talia asked standing by me.
"Her flames originated from Damon meaning she's half demon right? Therefore her blood is the same as Lowe royal blood. But that's not all......unfortunately I did find flamix in her blood."

Clenching my jaw more. Flamix was a liquid substance mixed with holy water and flame tears. Witch hunters created this to control witches. If it's in a witch it could block her powers but if nahara consumed any more than she did she would have died.
"It's a good thing it didn't reach the baby or he would have lost his life. But she is powerful no normal witch would even stand after being injected with flamix."
Doc turned the screening off.

"Damon can I speak with you alone?"
I nodded.
We walked out of the chambers and into my studies.
"What is it?"
"Damon... exactly what is your relationship with nahara ?"
"Doctor , I don't see how any of that is your business."
"No offense sir it's just that I'm getting worried for the baby sake."
"We had a one night stand that's all." I couldn't trust anyone right now not even the Doctor.

"Perhaps it's best if you cut any kind of romantic ties with her until after the pregnancy and the baby is delivered ........safely. She shouldn't be in involved not any kind of problems that threatens her or the babies life."
I hated how she was right. As if I wasn't thinking of that this whole time.

I nooded " I'll think on it."
"Take care sir." She left my study.

Later came in talia.
"I brought you some coffee you look beat." Placing the coffee next to me.

"I wanted to talking to you about nahara."
She caught my attention.
"What? Is she up?"
"No damon it's just......"
"Just what Talia?"
"Your beginning to change."
What was this woman tryna say?
I'm not even changing much my diet yea but nothing else really.

"Meaning ?"
"Your falling for her aren't you?"
"No"
"Then what were you doing when I linked you? Hmm tell me that." She crossed her arms.
"The things I do when I leave the castle isn't your business until I MAKE it your business."
"So you're not interested in her then ?"
"No"

"You answered to fast, Damon shes a distraction. I get she's carrying your child but this kingdom will fall if you don't cut your feelings for her."
"Talia...... don't worry about me , have I ever let this kingdom down?"
"Im just saying Damon.....I care about you . Your my goddamn brother and I'd protect you with my life but You must cut your feelings out the picture and focus on this up coming war more or less Ava will get to her and end nahara. You know how her magic is. I like nahara and I don't want to see her or you DEAD! "

She walked off furious only I could understand why she acted like that. After all I am her last living relative. Doc and Talias word left me thinking.
