It was a magical cove
With a red wooden bridge
And starlight seeping over the ridge.Bamboo waving in the wind
Dancing on waters of jade. The red fox curled on a bed of white,
shimmering cherry blossoms
They flew a kite. They promised each other forever
But forever is longer than it seems.Toes dipped in water
And shoes on the sand
They made promises,
While holding hands.Everything is lost
But so much remains. This is life,
The joy and pain.It was all a dream,
The starlit cherry blossom cove.Yet the foxes sat watching them
From the red wooden bridgeTheir dreams were singing through the wind,
Dandelions caught in her hair. They kissed on that bridge
With there hope blowing free
And life seemed sweeter, suddenly.
