A/N: Video is to show how Y/N plays, not what Y/N looks like.

September 2015

Y/n Lafayette is in his final class of the day, but his mind is focused on tomorrow night's football game, like it has been all day. It's the first game of his last season in high school and he is more than ready. Last season ended on a high as he lead the team to their second state championship in a row and only the schools second in its history, him winning both, and he can't wait to make it a third. Having broken many season records last season, he's ready to break them again this season and break some career records too.

Y/n spent his whole freshman year as a backup QB, coming in to two games, starting two and losing zero. During the second game of his sophomore year the starting senior QB tore his ACL after a bad tackle. Y/n came into the game and claimed the starting role, they then went unbeaten for the first time in the school's history and won the school's first state championship. In his junior year, they lost two games, neither of which Y/n played due to an ankle sprain, but they retained their national championship.

Y/n is one of only two current senior high school quarterbacks to be unbeaten as a starter. The difference between the two of them is that Y/n has been a starter for two seasons and the other guy, only one. Y/n being the number one rated QB, also being a dual-threat and a five star recruit with over twenty-four offers at the moment with many many more expected to come in, although he hasn't yet committed to any of them.

Sitting adjacent to Y/n is, Johnathan 'J.C' Cornett, Y/n's best friend and wide receiver on the football team. The pair met in the first grade after Y/n moved to Texas in September 2005. They very quickly became friends which Y/n was thankful for as it came at a time where he knew nobody. The pair only disagree on one thing, J.C is a huge Cowboys fan while Y/n is a huge Saints fan.

"Alright guys!" Mr Jones, the English teacher shouted as the bell signalled the end of the school day. "Everyone have a nice weekend, and if you're competing in anything, then good luck." he added as everyone was grabbing their bags and leaving the classroom.

"Ready for practice bro?" J.C asked Y/n as they exited the classroom and made their way to get ready for practice.

"You know I'm always ready me. I swear though, if coach starts calling stupid plays like he did in our preseason game, then I'm calling my own fucking shit." Y/n replied. Sure their coach is a great coach but even the best coaches can call questionable plays sometimes. And it goes without saying but, the players will always listen to Y/n over their coach when it comes to being on the field.

"Yeah man, he went full Seahawks by not letting us run the ball when on the fucking one yard line. At least we still got the dub."

"That's just cause' we too damn good." Y/n said to him with a small amount of smugness but backed up by facts. Y/n isn't really a arrogant/cocky player but he also is to a certain level, some say the best have to be, but he knows when to talk because he can back it up, he also knows where the line is. Having lost everything before moving to Texas and getting himself to where he is now, he is for the most part, humble.

"No Y/n?" J.C's mom asked him as arrived home from practice.

"No. He's gone home tonight." he replied shutting the door.

"Hmm, well I'll get some stuff ready just in case he decides to come later on."

"Probably for the best. Where is dad?" J.C asked her as he noticed his father's car missing from the driveway.

"He's gone to get Selena from the airport."
