Julie sunk her fangs into some of the human jerky, swaying her tail as she watched Donovan work. He's calmed down around her now.

"Did you hear about Widow from the Avengers?" Donovan hummed, peaking Julie's interest. She nudged him on to continue.

"Yeah, she's been appearing a lot more sick and she has been out of commission for a while." Donovan turned and saw Julie's tail slip out of the door.

Julie ran for the tug on her heart, she was ignoring it for too long. Feeling her bones grate and her muscles rip as she lurched into her tiger form. It was night and she was thin enough now to slink through the shadows, hurrying for the Avengers Tower.

Aftermath went to the nearest available vessel, Natasha. And Natasha wasn't a match, not completely. She doesn't have much longer.

Julie shifted back and worked frantically on the door, managing to slip inside with little trouble. She ignored the teen in the hall and hurried up the stairs, going as fast as she could without setting off alarms. She crouched by Natasha's floor and tapped the floor, hearing Natasha coughing within the door.

She waited patiently until the gold metallic slime slid from under the door. Julie picked Aftermath up and said fuck it to full stealth, jumping over the railing. She sat on it and slid all the way down to the first floor. She slipped back out and hurried back to Donovan, ignoring Aftermath's complaining.

She slipped back into the lab, sitting down right where she left. Her eyes tracked Donovan as he worked.

"Its getting late, go home to your son." She huffed, seeing him now timidly. He quickly scurried off. She sighed softly as her mind ran wild with thoughts.

She cant just leave her soulmates without returning something in her place... Maybe.... Maybe she can-

Yeah, she can do that.

"Aftermath, keep your eyes closed and don't open them for ANY reason. Understood?" Julie growled, feeling Aftermath nod before slinking back into Julie's mind.

Julie sighed as she closed her eyes. She waited calmly as her mind slowed to one thought. Eventually the phrase was the only thing in her head.

"What is it Julie? Why did you need us?" A voice filtered through her head. It was warm and calm. The temperature changed, her right side was warm but the left was freezing. Life and death.

"I am sorry to ask this of you both, but I do need it. I am willing to accept the consequences for this. Whatever they may be." She sighed, feeling the temperatures switch sides.

"What do you wish for?" Death, such a cold voice. Its fitting.

"Pietro Maximoff. I need him back, and I need him to live as long as he was meant to had the bullets missed. If not longer. I need him to be here for his sister." Julie snarled, swaying her tail as she heard souls whispering. Quickly she tightened her eyes shut, waiting calmly.

"As you wish." The combination sent shivers down her spine but she ignored it. The temperature evened out before returning to normal.

"VANDA!!" Her eyes snapped open, quickly catching the man. She grunted softly and set him down gently, snapping her fingers to get his attention.

"My name is Julie, I am Wanda Maximoff's soulmate. At least one of them. I brought you back to life, I want you to look after your sister. Take my place, keep her safe. And never tell her that I brought you back. Okay?" Julie stated, staring into Pietro's eyes. He turned to look at his spirit animal, a cheetah. Fitting. The cheetah lowered its head in a nod.

"Alvight. Vhere is she?" He stated, looking her in the eyes.

"Avengers tower, with her other soulmates. Now go, she misses you. And if you see a tiger with her, tell him I miss him. Okay?" She smiled, watching him nod before running off.

Hot tears slid down her cheeks as she sat in the dark, her throat burning as she pulled her knees tightly her chest.

"I'm sorry." She whispered, wrapping her hands in her hair. Her emotions grew too chaotic, letting out a scream that made her throat sore she colapsed to the floor. She curled up and sobbed, Aftermath remaining in her head. She's such an idiot, she can't love and she's just a worthless mess.

She's nothing.

Riiiiing

Stiffling her sons she pulled out her phone. Yes she has one, but how did Ze get her number. She calmly answered, whiping her nose as she choked back her tears.

"Dank you. Dank you so much." WANDA?!

"it's the least I could do, take it as an apology gift." Julie murmured, staring ahead as she hung up. She slid her phone back in place and continued her crying. What did she do to get this heart ache?
