CHAP 6 - At night

Taehyung P.O.V.

I shut the door and entered my room. I immediately regretted what I did to Yeonjun but I knew he felt my remorse and that comforted me someway. I want to tell everyone what's going on but I can't. I know they would push it, they don't know about the secret so it would only make it worse. When it comes to love It's kind of funny how a person can control your life. My actions and feelings change according to y/n.

But in reality, I want her to control me forever and I will do whatever is necessary to keep her with me.

There is a dark side when you depend on a person for too long, and I was taking the risk everyday. Tonight, my heart was breaking into pieces. Maybe because I missed y/n or maybe because of my loneliness itself... I sighed as I stared blankly at the ceiling. I couldn't stay here, I had to see her again.

After my run, I finally made it to Y/n's house. I climbed my way to the window. She always leaves it open which helps a lot. Carefully, I made my way inside the room and saw her angelic figure sleeping. I know she has been struggling with insomnia and I'm glad she is finally resting. I felt like my heart stopped when she smiled in her dream. It's a habit of hers and I adore it.

I sat next to her on the bed and slowly got myself into the covers. I often come and sleep with y/n for a few hours. It calms my soul. She is the only one that can ease my worries. My hand started to gently caress her face as I pulled her close to my body. I placed her head on my chest and kissed her nose.

She is so beautiful.

The reflection of the moon coming from the window traced her body perfectly. She hugged me unconsciously which shocked me a bit. I'm not complaining at all though.

"Hmm..yah! I'm not your heart plushie ya know?.. I'm like the baddest alpha out there!" I whispered in a playful tone.
I loved to feel her peaceful breathing next to mine. She really looks like a baby when sleeping.

I held her body firmly without hurting her. I was starting to get anxious about our future. It's impossible to not think about all these things. I sighed and fully closed my eyes. I started to sing a soft lullaby that her mother used to sing for her at night. She reacted to my voice and hugged me tighter. I could be like this forever, protecting her, holding her in my embrace, looking into her eyes, feeling her touch...

On the daily, I'm usually the one keeping her company while she cries...But tonight...

Tonight, I'm the one bursting into tears
