CHAP 11- "The cook"

Taehyung slowly turned around. Part of him was ready to attack but something told him he didn't have to.

"And who are you?" The Alpha said, himself already answering that question as he immediately recognized the face. He basically knew everyone in the house, even the bodyguards. I guess that was the advantage of following y/n every day of his life.

The man with soft features giggled when he realized Taehyung recognized him. Sighing he gave him a warm smile.

"Allow me to present myself formally, although I'm sure you already know that I am the cook in this house"

There was silence.

"How the hell does he know I know him" was all the alpha could think of.

Taehyung just nodded and listened to the man. What else can he do. He got caught in the act.

"My name is Kim Seokjin, y/n's and Beomgyu's personal cook. But also... Choi Y/n's emotional guardian"

"Guardian? what do you mean?" Taehyung spoke confused.

"Oh, come on! I'm sure you know about our species Alpha..." Before Taehyung could speak, those delicate brown eyes of Jin turned into a bright purple. He scrunched up his hoodie sleeve revealing his heart tattoo.

The boy's reaction was that of when someone wins the lottery. His eyes and mouth were wide open. He just couldn't believe it.

"Speechless huh?" Jin said chuckling slightly "It's a pleasure to meet you, I have to say, I'm relieved because I see that y/n's mate is not ugly. I was like praying to the gods that you would be cute because if my girly ends up with an ugly ass I would've-"

"Wait" that was all that Taehyung managed to say. "Wait give me a sec-" he cut him off but the silence was interrupted by a loud laugh. A whale like laugh?

"Speechless again huh" Jin gave him a small smirk

"I thought your species was extinct. How did you... survive?" Taehyung said amused.

Jin sighed and looked at the floor trying not to feel sad again. "Well is a long story kid, but y/n's mother basically saved us after the war so we sweared to protect y/n with our lives since she is the only werewolf in this family. My little Beomgyu was kind of lucky to be completely human because of the prophecy"

The prophecy. That word haunted Taehyung every day of his life. It made him so mad and anxious he never liked to talk about it, but deeply he knew one day he would have to.

"I guess you also know about that prophecy" Taehyung said with gritted teeth.

"Of course, I am her guardian after all"

Taehyung just nodded.

"Anyways, You said us? Aren't you the last guardian alive"

"No, thankfully I have Namjoon. He is a warrior guardian. I guess I'm relieved a guardian from both categories got to survive at least. I was able to recognize you from your smell Taehyung. Y/n had it all over her the other day, you must've hugged her or been extremely close to her for a long time for that to happen so um... care to explain that?" Jin replied teasingly raising a brow.

"Uh- well I- well-" the boy's face got all red and he closed his eyes not wanting to see the guardian's reaction. "I kinda come at night and get in her room so-"

"WHAT KIND OF FUCKERY IS THIS TAEHYUNG!, SHE IS A VIRGIN YOU PERVERT-" Jin suddenly snapped. That was not the answer he was expecting.

"Calm down calm down I swear I don't touch her like that-" "I-I just... like to lay next to her... that's all. I promise I would never take advantage of her. I love her" Taehyung panted and hoped the male guardian would understand. He kept his hands up in the air surrendering

"I guess I get it. She is your mate after all. Must suck to not have her close"

"Yeah...It does" the boy sighed "a lot actually"

Jin came close to Taehyung and whispered in his ear. "In the school of guardians they taught us about mythical creatures' mating, we have a whole werewolf chapter so whenever you get in heat just let me know... I can give you tips to masturbate. It must be frustrating to be an alpha and not have sex. I gotcha kid" he pulled back and winked at him.

To say that the Alpha was red is an understatement. He was BOILING

Taehyung never felt so embarrassed in his life.

"Yah...s-stop that... I don't n-need t-tips" Sweat ran down his face as he tried not to lose his composure.

"We both know that's your only solution until you mate with her, dear Alpha" and there it was again. That whale-like laugh filling the whole kitchen one more time.

"A-anyways, how are you so calm" Taehyung said trying to focus again on what he came to do in the first place.

"Beomgyu is missing..."

"I know but I can sense that he is alive, so I am calm because of that. But no, I'm not actually fine Taehyung. I'm just good at pretending I am. I absorb feelings, that's what emotional guardians do, we try our best to lighten the mood up. But you are right, I think my distraction skills got a little overboard. Go ahead. Track him kid. Bring Beomgyu back"

Both of their smiles faded away as their minds came back to reality.

"Shit" Jin said out of nowhere and a quick tear scaped his eye almost as a reflex.

"He is hurt Taehyung. I j-just s-sensed it" Panic was clearly reflected on his face as he pushed the alpha up the stairs to the high schooler's room.

A couple of minutes after inhaling the scent. Taehyung left running and shifted away in the woods. He needed to find him. He needed Beomgyu to be alive.

Taehyung p.o.v.

shit shit shit shit shit. That was all I managed to think as I ran. Beomgyu was hurt. He was hurt!

After a couple of minutes tracking his scent, my wolf stopped. "No way" was all I managed to say. My chest felt heavy as I tried to catch my breath.

This is the last thing I need right now... "Out of all the places Choi Beomgyu, out of all the fucking places in this planet" I said frustrated.

Now,

I officially had two reasons to panic:

First, because of the fucking fact that Beomgyu was missing.

Second, because once I tracked him, the smell led me directly to my pack house.
