I fell on my bed, absolutely exhausted from a long workday. Usually I only work one job every day since they're about the same time, but today I had to go to the watchtower right after I was done at the shelter, why I hear you ask, well some of the hero's decided that running into the blast of a bomb was a good idea and all got severely burned and Lainey couldn't take care of all of them on her own, so I was called in. This meant, all in all, I've worked 13 hours today which was a bit too much, for me as a normal human being who doesn't dress up at night and fight crime.

I fell onto my bed, Luna climbing on beside me and laying her head on my back. I smiled turning around and began petting her "Such a good girl, you know exactly how to cheer me up," I said to her(well mostly myself)while scratching her behind her ears. I all of a sudden heard a knock on my door, I yelled a come in and saw it was Alfred who came in with a tray full of healthy snacks, some different kinds of melon cut up and put in a bowl and what seemed to be a strawberry smoothie and last a chocolate bar. I sighed in happiness "My god Alfred, you didn't tell me you were telepathic" I said while sitting up as Alfred gave me the tray, he chuckled "I believe it's more of a logical deduction, I suppose Master Bruce has rubbed of on me with all the deducing" I laughed a bit as I took a piece of melon and stuffed it into my mouth quickly chewing and swallowing it before replying "I think it's more you that's rubbed off on him, god knows you might be more clever than all of us", Alfred just chuckled "You underestimate yourself Miss Alex, both you and I know that you have all the boys at your fingertips" I choked a little on the piece of melon I was chewing on, couching a bit. I mean I guess he wasn't completely wrong with that statement but maybe it was a bit of an oversaturation. "I'll let you eat in peace when you are done simply place the tray outside the door and I'll get it. I know how badly you need to sleep my dear" Alfred said exciting my room and walking back downstairs. I smiled, Alfred only calls me my dear if he's worried about my health, and I have to agree with him with all the stupid hours I've been working my sleep schedule is all messed up. I finished the snacks and left half of the chocolate bar for another day before putting on pj's and getting in bed with Luna sleeping at my feet and I very quickly fell asleep.

Timeskip

"I swear to god if it's another medical emergency I'm gonna just leave them to die" I whisper to myself as I was awoken in the middle of my peaceful sleep by my phone ringing like crazy. I tried to rub as much sleep out of my eyes as I could before picking up my phone from the nightstand only to get immediately blinded by the bright ass screen. It took a few seconds but my eyes got used to the light let me see that it was 4 AM and that it was Jason that was calling me "Well at least it's not dad being stubborn again" I whispered to myself before answering.

"Jay you better have a goddamn good reason to call me," I said sternly through the phone.

"Sissy! Ivvvvv'e mised you we aven't talkd in like fucking agggeeessss!" I heard a very slurred voice yell through the phone and immediately knew why he called. "Jesus, you're drunk aren't you"

"You're with Jesus, tell him i've missssssed him!" I sighed knowing that I would have to go pick him up since dad and Damian were busy with Ivy and Tim was probably asleep at the bat computer from staying up for three days straight. I rubbed my temples in annoyance "Alright where are you?" I asked hoping that I wouldn't have to play the guessing game as to where he was.

"By da flowers"

"Jay, I need you to be more specific I know it's hard but I need you to look at a sign and tell me what it says," I said carefully and softly as if I was talking with a toddler which I was.

"Itssss flowers I told uuuuuu!" Sighed again, "guess I have to play the guessing game" I whispered away from the phone while standing up, turning on the lights and walking over to my desk starting my computer up "Alright sweetie I need you to sit down on the ground and wait for me, can you do that?" I asked carefully "Yessssss sir!" I put my phone on the table and put it on off-mic so he couldn't hear me. I looked up the different streets and roads removing those that were not near any bars and were in the more expensive areas.
