Vic POV

I hate waking up. Especially on a Monday. The weird thing is that its a Saturday. I should be ecstatic. Right? Something was different today. I couldn't put my finger on it. I hear my brother call my name, but I decide to ignore it. The weekend means sleeping in. I don't give a shit what anybody says. I will be more than happy to  waste my youth on slumber. Please and thank you. Wait. No, I wouldn't. I forget that on Saturdays, we have band practice.

"OH, VICTORRRRRRRRR!!" Mike

"YES, MICHAELLLLL?!"

"MOTHER SEEKS YOUR PRESENCE!"

"WHY YES. I WILL BE DOWN MOMENTARILY, YOUNG BRETHREN!"

Mike and I have that kind of relationship where we just do and say stupid shit, but we do it as a family. Does that sound bad?  Oh, well.

I reluctantly get up and dressed. I pick up a random band shirt to see if it's wearable. Sniff. All good. I slip it on along with a pair of black skinnies.  Walking out of my room to make my way downstairs, I hear voices. Tyler, Mike and someone vaguely familiar.

"Yeah, no joke." Tyler  says." He gets up and instead of going to bathroom like any sane person would, he sits in a corner and shits himself!" Oh, god. Not this story. "I mean, who could blame him. I would probably do the same if I was forced to recite the alphabet, but didn't know jack shit. I know my he was only 5, but come on. Isn't that hilarious?!" I am going to murder him.

I step in the living room and see that the other person, besides Mike and Tyler, is no other than the raven haired kid that I met at the beginning of the week.

"Oh, hey." My purple haired best friend says followed by an awkward cough. "How'd you sleep, Vic?" I send him a glare. Is he really gonna act as if I didn't just walk in on him sharing the story the most  horrific embarrassment of all time?

"I slept a hell of a lot better than you will be." I say through gritted teeth.

"Oh, you heard that!" He says. Tyler, are you really that oblivious?

"Uh., yeah. I thought we weren't gonna bring it up ever again! I'm surprised you still remember." I cross my arms, but it doesn't hide my flushed face.

"I couldn't help myself! We were waiting for you to wake up and I saw a picture of us when we were younger. It was taken the same day, so I just thought I'd share that." He says trying to defend himself.

"Whatever...just forget about it." I mumble." ALL OF YOU." I point to the other two in the room.

"Okay, whatever you say, little bro."

"Thanks, little bro."

"What if we don't want to forget about it?" Kellin speaks up. He has an evident smirk painted on his face. Tyler and Mike look at him like he's crazy. I may be small, but I will not hesitate to fight a bitch.

"Then, I'll make you forget." I say trying to leave it at that.

"Try me."

"Is that a challenge, Quinn?" I smirk right back. The other guys shout,"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

"Your move, Fuentes." He takes a step closer and the whole room falls silent. I visibly gulp. Now that we're face to face, I'm finding it harder breathing next to him. I look at my brother and best friend. They're just watching us with amused expressions. This escalated quickly.
