After an hour, they had packed up the horse all the way. Sylvanna was now on the carrier, with all of her stuff, holding two long, leather straps in either hand. "Bye Hija, I'll see you in 7 days!"
"Bye, Momma!" Sylvanna starts making her way out of the village, singing to herself.
After a while of going down one main path, Sylvanna stumbled upon two different paths, one with low tree branches and it was dark, and the other almost the same but not as dark as the other one. Sylvanna made her way down the not so scary path, but as they walked down the path, then a pack of wolves started to attack them. This not only spooked the horse but also made him throw Sylvanna off his back. He ran back the way they had come.
"Ouch... Where am I?" Sylvanna gets up quickly while she was shivering. "oh Irene is it cold out, maybe there's a house around." she starts to run down another path that leads off the one she was down.
As she sprinted she stumbled upon a black old looking gate which was in front of a huge castle. She quickly walked toward it to see if it was unlocked, which it was, then she pushed the gate open with all her force and quickly closing it. She followed the gravel path and it led her to the front doors of the castle. Still freezing, she was desperate so she opened the doors.
"Hello is anyone there? I was headed to Falcon Claw, but my horse knocked me off and then abandoned me." she looked around the front part of the palace. Then she hears whispers, "Hello?"
"Hello! Visitor!"
"Who said that?" she looked around, "Is anyone there? I really need a place to stay."
"Garroth! You know we can't let outsiders in here, the master will not approve."
"Its just one night and she looks cold, come on Zane."
"It's not my problem if we get in trouble."
"I'm definitely going insane, where are those voices coming from?"
Garroth, the candlestick, tapped Sylvanna on the back, "Hello miss!"
Sylvanna jumped at the tap, "Nope I'm definitely going insane."
"Why hello miss, I'm Garroth and this grumpy clock is Zane, and we heard you were cold, would you like a cup of tea?"
"Excuse me I didn't want to offer her anything, " Zane turned and crossed his arms.
"Zane be nice, but what do you say? Would you like some tea?"
"I would love some!" Sylvanna smiled.
"Follow me, " Garroth said as he walked toward a room that looked like a sitting room. There was the main chair which was huge but also looked so comfortable to Sylvanna right now. "Take a seat ma'am, and warm-up." Garroth grabbed a blanket and gave it to her which then, she placed it over her body.
"Thank you so much, " as she said that a rolly tray, with a teapot and a little teacup, pulled up next to her. The teapot poured some tea into the teacup.
"Now, Vylad be careful, " the teapot said as Vylad carefully jumped to Sylvanna. Sylvanna picked him up and drank some of his tea.
"Thank you all so..."
"WHERE IS MY DINNER, " a strong, deep voice yelled. That's when Garroth and Zane's faces went to complete fear.
"We will be right back miss, " Garroth says as he quickly leaves the sitting room with Zane, and they make their way to the stairs.
"Where's my dinner? I've been waiting an hour to be called, " A muscular man with a red bandana on his face said.
"Well master, we got caught up in something."
"Don't take me in with you, you got caught up in something, not me."
"What are you two arguing about now, " he crosses his arms.
"GARROTH BROUGHT A OUTSIDER IN!" Zane said but then he shuts up.
"Zane..."
"He WHAT!" That's when the master ran to the sitting area and picked Sylvanna up by the collar of her shirt. "HOW DID YOU FIND THIS PLACE? AND WHY ARE YOU HERE?!"
Her face turned pale and her eyes were wide now, "My horse knocked me off and as you can see it's cold and wet outside and I asked for a place to stay.
Master smirked, "I have a perfect place for you to stay,"
"you do?!?"
"Let me take you to it, " Thats when the master took Sylvanna upstairs to a cell and locked the door. He left her in the cell alone and bitter cold.
