Diamonds as sharp as knives pierced though the walls behind me. What happened if I was caught in the attack? It'll be the same as having a bullet to my head.
I turned behind me to see nine diamonds pierce the walls. Cracks formed around the weapons and after a few seconds they disappeared. The damage that had been done remained engraved into the wall.
"Well fuck you too," I hurriedly slid over for cover just as he took the next card. More diamonds shot around my perimeter, although it was very powerful I know that his diamonds have a maximum limit. Everything has one.
If I can dodge all of that I might have a good chance to strike. I swiftly pull out my gun that was in my backpack. When did I get the gun?
Well it was after fighting with Malay that I figured that I needed to take precautions and bring actual weapons this time. I won't be able to sweet talk my way out of this, I'm gonna have to defeat them.
I jump up and aim my gun at his legs, I then pulled the trigger. The bullet collided with a diamond and it propelled to the other side of the room, missing both of us and it's momentum slowed down.
I shot a few more before he could have the chance to attack me again. All collided with a diamond and was sent flying. Except I made a break through, eventually a bullet did go through, there was no chance Indo could dodge or summon more diamonds.
Did I win? Well obviously not since when has life ever worked in my favor?
Before it hit him he pulled out another card then a large heart barrier appeared in front of him, deflecting the bullet. The card was a heart 6.
I saw a glimpse of it before it evaporated into air. The barrier was shaped like a heart and was a pink shade, it was transparent of some sorts like looking through a window that was dyed pink.
Soon the barrier disappeared too, "you think it'll be that easy?" Indo laughed. "Wrong," he pulled out another card and a shower of diamonds rained down on me. It was King Diamond, the shower of diamonds easily surpassed the limit and over 20 diamonds rained down on me.
I snapped open a wooden board from under the table and started spinning it around so it would catch all the diamonds that were on top of me.
After the rain of diamonds ceased I stopped spinning the board, diamonds were protruding the board like it was jello. Luckily enough it didn't go through the board but did create some big cracks and holes.
Not long after the diamonds disappeared, leaving its effects behind. From what I can deduce, each card symbol has a different ability. Diamonds are basically sharp diamond shaped weapons being thrown around and hearts are a large heart barrier.
Of course there's still spade and Clover but I can't think of anything that relates to those two symbols.
Then as if on cue Indo pulled out a spade card with the number 7 written on it. A spade appeared and he grabbed the small bottom part of it, I guess you could say the stem? The stem grew longer in his grip and at the top formed a large blade.
The spade had turned into a sword, it was a purple ish tint while the diamonds were blue and the heart barrier was pink.
He took one big swing at the sword, it felt like he cut right through the air. Then he dashed up to me and started swinging continuously, it was getting a little hard to dodge. Some the slices made minor cuts in my skin.
Soon the sword disappeared into thin air, he jumped back and pulled out a 4 diamond card. They flew at me, I jumped away and took cover.
I saw it. The sword disappeared after 7 slices, the exact number that was on the card. It wasn't a coincidence I'm sure of it. I needed to test a theory.
I pulled out my gun again and poked my head out just a little to shoot him. He pulled out a 2 heart card and as expected a barrier showed up in front of him. Except this time the bullets created cracks on the barrier.
So my theory is, for diamonds, the number on the card is the number of diamonds he can create in one turn. For spade, the number on the card is how many swings he can take with the sword and for heart, the number on the card is how durable the barrier is.
Basically the higher the number on the heart card the more powerful the barrier is and the weaker it is the easier it is to break through.
Wow I'm getting closer to figuring out his power. All that's left is the clover card that he hasn't pulled out.
I shot one more bullet and then a large hole cracked through the barrier. This was my chance, I aimed at the hole and fired a shot. He pulled out another card and suddenly disappeared, I looked behind me and he was there. He hammered me to the ground with his elbow, so the clover gives abnormal speed.
At least now I know all his cards, I can figure something out to defeat him. I slammed into the ground, I didn't hesitate to grab a piece of glass in the ground and throw it at him.
I guess I caught him off guard as he swerved away to avoid it. In that spilt second I took the stack of cards from his hands.
"Anjing! (Bitch!)" He cursed at me, I flew myself backwards using my legs so I could get as far away from him as possible. The card stack immediately disappeared, he let out a low growl.
He isn't respawning the card stack so I'm guessing he has a cool down time for that. Looks like I've won.
Then he pulled out his hidden ace card from right under his sleeve, and I mean that literally and figuratively. But it was more like a joker.
He pulled out a joker card from his sleeve and it also disappeared and instead in his hand was a large and seemingly very sharp bamboo stick. "Didn't wanna use this but oh well," he aimed the bamboo stick above me so he could stab right through me.
I was frozen on the ground, this is it.
But then another country came to the rescue, or did they?

A/N : For context the 5 weapon cards Indo has are his 5 large islands. How's that for creativity? Zero? Ok.
