"A Confession"

A little note for the dialog in this chapter, there will be weird dialogue in this chapter. I couldn't think of how to make it so Skep and Darryl would speak at the same time, so I just did it to be when Darryl is speaking, his words will be in bold italicized and Skep's will be normal.

*3rd person*

"Uhm... hello?" Darryl says, cutting off his epic bass drop.

"Hi..." the awkward boy replies.

Total silence fell between the two. Darryl sat behind his screen, quiet as ever, trying to configure a way on how to ask the dreaded question. He thought just saying it out of the blue would be a bit rude and would make the younger quite uncomfortable. His already imagined scenarios made it even harder for him to ask the younger. The two sat like that for what seemed to be an eternity, until.

"I'm Zak, so whats sorry has I've been been up acting with up you lately?." the two would say in unison.

"You go first." both the taller and shorter would say at the same time once again.

An awkward chuckle would be heard from both sides on the TS call, a chuckle coming from each person. They went quiet again, for some time until Darryl spoke up again.

"Zak.. what's been going on.. Ever since that chat you had with Dave a few months back, you haven't been the same..."

Zak sat motionless on his end, contemplating what his move would be. He stared at this screen, shocked at the other boy's initial question. He finally formed the correct words in his mind, and spoke hesitantly.

"I... Darryl I need to tell you something important."

"Mhm... Go on then. Take your time Zaky."

The dirty blonde began calling Zak, Zaky, a few weeks ago. He found the nickname adorable so he decided to keep it. Let's just say Darryl is a sucker for adorable and cute things.

"Darryl I.... I need you to promise you won't hate me before I continue...", Zak says quietly into his mic.

The ill-tempered boy would respond, "I promise. I don't know if what you tell me will make me mad, but I promise you on everything I own and love, I'll never hate you."

*Zak POV*

Those words made my heart skip a beat. My stomach began to become encased in the feeling of millions of little butterflies, fluttering around inside. I felt warm, tingly, safe. All I wanted... was him.

I inhaled deeply, mustering all the  courage I had, and finally let out my, not too well kept, secret.

"Darryl... I... I think I might be Bisexual.."

Both Darryl and I went completely quiet for who knows how long. I began to break out in a nervous sweat, thinking of all the things that might have been running through his mind. Yea, this 100% wasn't the ideal way to tell him of my new found sexuality, but I don't think I could hold that in for much longer.

I finally heard a small sigh from the other side of the call. The sign didn't comfort me at all, since it was one of those sighs people make before speaking on serious terms.

He began to speak.

"Zak.. we need to talk about this face to face."

Silence fell in the call once again, but this time it was for the sake of Darryl needing time to configure words in his head.

"This...This isn't proper. You deserve to come out to me in a better setting, rather than an awkward teamspeak call where I can't even see your face, or you see mine. Meet me at Invaided Park 9 P.M."

And with that, he left the call.

i am sorry for the short chapter. I also wanna say tysm so much for 1.1k reads lovlies <3!! so glad you are all enjoying the story as much as i am. 

also uh yall need to chill in the comments that i addressed in my last author's note. thank you to everyone defending me i really appreciate you all!!! im sending my love out to you guys especially today <3! 

also another thing. all of the crap i write is obviously fake, especially the love lore. lmao. i mean like im changing things in the story so i can actually write the love story properly, like the characters sexuality n such. this is just for the sake of the ship lmao.
