Light streams through the arched windows, bathing the open living room in the afternoon sunlight.

Bellatrix zoomed from the dining room, through the kitchen, and around the kitchen island to the living room. Zayn hears her attempting to jump on the sectional to get away from him, as she's too small to jump into the couch he's sure she used her steps.

Running from the dining room, he reaches the kitchen island and slowly peeks his head around it. He then sees her on the other side of the room on the couch, upper body leaning over the arm, butt in the air, and tail wagging frantically looking for him.

He quietly made his way to the front of the couch, making sure to stay on the rug and keep his steps light so she couldn't hear him.

After reaching the end of the couch he leapt up and tackled her playfully. She yelped startled and he gave a wolfish laugh and gently fought back. As he's twice her size in his wolf form and Bellatrix is still a puppy he lets her do most of the tackling and fighting.

For most of the afternoon the two canines have been playing. Bellatrix got the zoomies earlier and wanted to play, so Zayn shifted into his wolf form and ran after her through the apartment.

His wolf is raven black, much like his hair. However, Omegas tend to have lighter-colored hair, so if you met someone who was an Omega they would likely have somewhere between blond or light brown hair. Alphas have dark hair, black and dark browns, Betas are usually in the middle with different shades of browns and reds.

Some people are an exception to this, however, such as him. His parents have black hair and they're both Beta wolves. Therefore, there was a chance for them to have an Omega child even if that chance was low. Definitely not as high as an Alpha and Omega together, they produce the most Alpha and Omegas.

A Beta and Beta together are most likely to have a Beta. Omega and Omega together aren't as common, but they're Omegas out there that are together, and they want to have kids they have to go a different route.

Hearing his phone go off, he gets off the couch and shifts back and puts a t-shirt and sweat pants on, and walks to the dining table, where he left his phone.

His apartment is an open-concept floor plan that has an industrial style. He has a rather large sectional couch which takes up most of his living room and wall. The kitchen island has an electric fireplace and a stovetop on it.

On the opposite side of that is where the stove, refrigerator, and sink are, and to the right of that is the dining table.

Walking over to the door he opens it and he's greeted by Lauren, Normani, and Niall. He opens the door wider to let them in and once they're inside he shuts the door then they walk to the living room.

Normani hands out the coffee they brought as they sit down and debate what to watch.

"What about Riverdale?"

"I'd rather stick a fork in a socket."

"House Hunters?"

"Faker then reality TV."

There's more of this back and forth for a few minutes before they end up settling and watching Tanked for a while.

"We should get a fish." Lauren voiced.

"Whose going to take care of them? I don't care for fish, plus didn't you want another dog?" Normani retorted.

"I do, we can name them Flapjack."
