5 - Justin

Justin woke up to the sound of claws on the hardwood floor then he felt his bed dip and a heavy weight in his chest. Opening his green and hazel eyes, Justin is met with the sight of his Shiba Inu, Thor, standing on top of him. Justin laughs and pushed Thor off of him.

"Good morning to you to Thor. I'm assuming you want food?" Justin says as he sits up in his king sized bed.

The bed much like this right of the room is beige, and the upholstered headboard goes to the silver nightstands that has lamps on it.

Above the nightstands are crystal lights much like the ones that are coming from the ceiling at the end of the bed. On the right side of the bed is a mirror and doors that led to the bathroom, closet and hallway.

In front of the bed are two beige tufted chairs with a small end table between the two.

Thor nods his head and hops off the bed, waiting for Justin.

Throwing his covers back Justin gets out of his bed and follows Thor through the house. Walking into the kitchen with Thor in front of him, Justin sees Ava sitting on the white stool at the marble table with her head on it.

Ava isn't a morning person, so for her to be out of bed at this time on a weekend Justin can take a guess that one of the dogs woke her up and wouldn't let her fall back to sleep.

Even when he had to wake up early for classes during his college years, Justin was a morning person.

Shaking his head at Ava Justin walked around the kitchen table to get to the fridge.

"Have you had breakfast yet?" Justin asks Ava, as he opens the fridge and takes out the dog's food.

The refrigerator is a light brown color that matches the cabinets and counters, the countertop is brown granite.

"No, I haven't yet," Ava responds sitting up.

As Justin nods his head, he says, "Can you give the dogs their food for me?" He places the three packages of food next to her on the table.

Getting up from her chair Ava takes the food and walks over to the six dog bowls sitting off to the side of the kitchen.

Hearing food being placed in their bowls, Aries and Andromeda's paws can be heard running from the living room. Thor is also next to Ava waiting for the food to be put in his bowl next.

Justin put the mixing bowl aside and got three pans and put them on the stove.

Walking over to the refrigerator Justin takes out the bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese and avocado before stepping back to the counter by the stove.

Using a small bowl, Justin cracked four eggs and put some salt into it.

Justin turns the stove on and puts the bacon in and lets that cook, before cooking the mushrooms next.

When the bacon and mushrooms were ready Justin put them aside to make the omelets and pancakes.

Chopping the bacon into pieces Justin puts the bacon, mushrooms and cheese inside the omelets.

With the pancakes and omelets Justin plates the food and tops the omelets with tomatoes and avocados.

Justin sets the plates down on the table along with the syrup. He hands Ava her plate then sits down on the stool in front of Ava.
