Surprise I'm updating now because I'm feeling good. I'll still upload another tomorrow. I also probably won't have school so I'll have time to prepare more chapters for the 20 of you reading the story

The boys walked together, hand in hand when they knew they'd be alone. Their lips felt tender from the new sensations, but they didn't mind. Harry kept stealing glances at Draco, who was smiling slightly the whole time. He had a thoughtful and content look in those gorgeous grey eyes.

"Draco... tell me if I'm stupid but... Are we dating now?" The brunette blushed madly when he said it aloud.

"I suppose so. Do you want to be?" The taller one asked, taking a sideways glance at, what he thought, was the cuter of the two of them.

"Yes, of course," Harry said, mustering a little bit of confidence. He smiled brightly and chuckled a little. "And if we're dating... Should we tell the others? Parkins-"

"Pansy."

"Pansy, Ron, and 'Mione?" he finished.

"I don't see why not. You trust them though, right?" he asked, still unsure of trusting them.

"Of course. And I can trust Pansy." They seemed to nod in agreement, to themselves and each other. They continued their walk in peaceful silence. Harry leaned into Draco as they walked, taking in every bit of the boy beside him. He loved the way Draco grinned, and how his hair would sometimes disobey the way he wanted it. His clothes hung on him on such a way that it accentuated his toned body. And finally it was the smell of mint and orange that always reminded him of a comfortable place to be.

Finally they reached the Slytherin common room entrance. Harry realized that in his focus on Draco he'd lost track of where he was being taken.

"I want you to wait here," the blonde said, leaving the other standing awkwardly outside. Draco spoke the password and entered the common room.

Just a moment later he came out and signalled for Harry to follow. "Isn't this not allowed?"

"Since when do you, Harry Potter, care about the rules?" Draco asked sarcastically. He took his boyfriend by the hand and led him quickly to the boy's rooms, and into his own.

"I'm not worried about the rules, I'm worried about getting caught," Harry said. He kept nervously glancing around and at the door, as if someone were going to jump out and get the two in deep trouble.

"Damn near every Slytherin goes home for winter. We're completely alone here, and I know that for sure." Draco sat in his bed and patted the spot beside him. "Come on, now." Shyly the brunette sat down.

They leaned against one another, a sudden nervousness overcoming them. Being alone was something so simple and yet so scandalous at the same time.

Draco wrapped his arms around Harry snuggling into him. "This is nice, isn't it?" he asked.

"Yeah, I suppose so." The brunette ran his fingers gingerly through the other's hair. He mumbled something quietly and leaned into Harry's hand. "What do you want?" whispered Harry. No response came. "Draco?"

"Hmm?" he sluggishly sat up for a second, then started to sink back into his previous position.

"Woah, now, hold on," Harry chuckled. He propped up Draco, allowing himself to get more comfortable, and then laid the other boy down. Draco gladly accepted the movement, and even wrapped the blanket around himself the second his head hit the pillow. Harry moved behind him and laid down, too.

Neither one had realized, before then, how late it had gotten. They were soundly asleep together within minutes. All those years of insomnia on both their part cured by this.

When morning came, Harry was the first to wake. He realized he left his glasses on, cursing himself silently for possibly breaking them yet again. He moved them onto the bedside table. Laying back down, he snuggled up to Draco, hugging him from behind.

After a while, the blonde finally stirred, attempting to sit up only to realize he was trapped. After a moment of panic, he noticed Harry beside him and instantly relaxed.

"You could've said something, ass," he stated, turning to face Harry in the bed.

"Good morning to you too, Draco." They both laughed gently.

"How long have you been up?" he asked, yawning.

"About 10 minutes, I think. But it's alright. I didn't want to wake you; you looked so peaceful," Harry said, making the other boy blush.

"Well thank you for that," he said sheepishly. They laid together for a while longer, wrapped in each other's arms. Draco tenderly kissed Harry on the forehead, hugging him closer. "I like this."

"I do too." Harry looked up at Draco and smiled. "Why me?"

"What?" the blonde replied, confused.

"Why would you want to date me?"

"It's just something about you, Harry. Maybe it's your disheveled hair, or the way your eyes shine when you I look at you. Or its your hard-headedness. Maybe it's just the way you talk. There isn't one thing that makes me like you. It's all of you," Draco replied thoughtfully.

"So why did you hate me?" Harry asked.

"I hated you?" Draco asked in surprise. He laughed. "I should be asking you that."

"What do you mean?" The brunette asked, being completely serious. He sat up in the bed.

"You refused my handshake, you didn't want to even try to know me," Draco said, becoming defensive.

"You're being an ass, Draco." Harry got up out of the bed, putting his glasses on.

"I'm the one being an ass?! You're being petty!" The tension in the room suddenly increased.

"Forget it, Draco. Forget I asked anything."

"No, why don't you tell me how you really feel, Potter." He spat.

"So now I'm just Potter again?" Harry asked, hurt by the other's words.

"I don't know. Maybe you've always been," Draco said quietly. The fight was clearly over. Harry tried keeping his temper, and ultimately just ran from Draco's room back to his own. He knew that it would be at least a while before they saw each other again.
