Ciel looked down at his demon, careful and calculating. He hadn't been entirely honest with Michaelis. Truthfully, he was terrified of what this child would entail. The demon physician and speculated that when he was given as a sacrifice to the demon gods the cult worshipped, they'd managed to change him physically. The thought sickened him more than anything else and only fueled his need for revenge.

They were close, so close to finding the rest of the bastards and yet, what would happen when they did? These months had been unexpected bliss for him and Michaelis, they're relationship surely had grown, but was nowhere near what most would expect. Naturally, they disagreed on many things when it came to their child, from names, to where to raise it, to who'd it look like. He had agreed on working with Michaelis in order to give them the best possible life.

He moved his arm around his rounding stomach protectively, "You're sure...?" His voice was quieter then he'd intended.

"I am looking into it...Ciel.." The way he savored his name made him shutter, "But I cannot..."

"You're hundreds of years old! You must know of some way to at least alter then contract!" He stood and used the chair as support, Michaelis's hands were quick to steady him. He leaned into him, "There has to be..."

They stood in each others' embrace for a long moment, he shifted a bit, "I might know a way..." He said, barely above a whisper.

"...How?" Ciel looked up at those crimson eyes he'd come to love.

"...It's dangerous, epecially with you in this state. We'd have to wait until after-"

"Michaelis." He spoke firmly, the demon stopped and glanced down at him, "How?"

"...You'd have to become a demon...before the contract in fulfilled." Something in those eyes shifted.

"And if that were to happen now?" he fumbled with one of the buttons on the butlers' coat.

Michaelis shifted and pulled away from his slightly, looking at him fully. He pursed his lips, "It's dangerous right now..."

"Oh..." Ciel sighed, "I'm tired, carry me to bed?" He glared at Michaelis's answering smirk, "Oh forget it." he grumbled and pulled away, heading to the door when strong arms lifted him bridely style and a smiling face carelessly kissed him.

"I will always carry you, my Ciel." He purred against the youngers neck.

Ciel blushed deeply, "I shouldn't have asked." He mumbled into the demon's chest, he'd be damned if he'd cave so easily.
