Quick note! I am on medical leave from work for something that has yet to be diagnosed and since I am completely out of things to do, I'm going to attempt to finish this story. I've been putting it off because I just am not into mpreg anymore and Black Butler isn't an obsession of mine. I'll try not to let my disinterest rush the story. Thanks for all the support and I hope this is what you've been expecting!

The scream haunted his days as he ran through the hell pit he knew far too well. He followed as two of his brethren dragged the young adult across the bloody footpath, stones soaked in the blood of the tortured and demented.
"EVAN!" He was losing them, the darkness surrounding him and pulling his contractor, his lover into a manor he surely wouldn't escape from. He reached for them but the doors slammed just as the last of newly immortals screams reached him. Too late, he was too late. He'd always be too late to save him.
Sebastian awoke in a silent scream, staring up at the ceiling of his room. His jaw tightened at the memory that plagued him, the reason he barely fell into sleeps formidable grasp. He turned his head slowly, looking to the small armory of cats and kittens that awaited breakfast.
He looked at his pocket watch as he sat up, "Ah..it's nearly time" he pushed back his damp hair, how disgraceful of a demon to sweat, he mused to himself as he prepared for the day.
Catlike, Sebastian moved silently throughout the manor with quiet, cold anger around him as he did. Smartly, the other staff didn't comment on his sour mood and opted to stay out of his way, having learned quickly that Sebastian's moods quickly lead to more pain on their behalf. Though Ciel had little patience to deal with his butler's emotional status.
"What is it?" Ciel inquired coldly as he sipped the hot cholate he'd been craving all afternoon.
"Hm?" He looked to his lord questioningly.
"You've been quiet all morning and didn't bother explain the German dessert you presented."
"Apologises, Ciel- Ah, My lord." He bowed a bit, his mind wandering back to the memory he'd been trying to escape.
His lord arched a brow at that, "If it's about...this," he gestured to his growing stomach. The demon doctor Sebastian had sought out had been helpful in some regards, but unnerving in others. Only four more months, he reminded himself, "Then say it."
He heaved a sigh, "It's not, its something much less impending." He nodded firmly, "How are you today? You've managed to keep down breakfast so far." His usual playful smirk was forced.
Ciel narrowed his eyes, "Don't change the subject. I'm fine, but you look...well like hell." He huffed and leaned back annoyed.
"Oh, I'm sorry if that's an inconvenience, my lord." He bowed mockingly, not in the mood to deal with Ciel's attitude, and Ciel seemed to share the sentiment.
"Don't," Ciel half growled, "Condescend to me."
He scanned the adult before him, a sudden fear and dread stopping the snarky reply. He nodded stiffly, "Yes, Ciel.." He turned swiftly.
"This won't work if you stay distanced. You're the one who's intent on caring for this child. Elizabeths has been nothing but a pain since I called off the engagement and wedding and no leads have opened up about the cult."
He nodded again, "There's nothing to explain. Just, an old relationship that went very badly very quickly. Mistakes I'm not making again." He turned and crosses the room in a stride, kneeling before his lover, "I swore to protect you...until the day the contract is fulfilled and I.." He looks down.
"You've found a lead..." Not a question.
"I fear that I have..."
