"Why do people care so much about this shit anyways?" my best friend, Isabel asked pointing at a yellow piece of paper tacked to the bulletin board.
I walked up closer to take a good look.
ATTENTION EVERYBODY
HENRY WATSON GOT A NEW CAR TODAY SO MAKE SURE TO SAY CONGRATS
I bursted out laughing. Welcome to Riverview High school everyone! Where the girls are slutty and the guys are dickheads. Don't forget to pick up the newest newspaper about the most popular assholes here! We don't care about your grades or your intelligence! We care about your reputation!
"This is ridiculous," I said ripping the paper off the wall and crumbling it into a ball.
"Ugh, agreed," Isabel said taking the paper from me and dumping it into the recycling bin.
We walked out to the busy parking lot talking about the newest episode of Grey's Anatomy. We reached my Audi and put our bags in the back seats.
I shut the door and was about to open the driver's side when a large hand landed on my window.
I quickly looked at its owner.
Here we go...
"Is there something you need?" I asked as politely as I could.
Henry Watson himself stared down at me with his chocolate brown eyes, "Yes, the paper you and your friend decided to throw away."
I heard Isabel getting out of the car. I glanced at her and saw that she had a bag of popcorn. Where the hell did she get that from?
"Ahh, the one with the unnecessary information on it? Sorry but if you want that back then you will have to go dig it out of the trash yourself," I said reaching for the door handle but was stopped once again.
"I normally don't have to ask twice," he hissed.
I shrugged my shoulders obviously not intimidated by his huge stature, "Well, you don't have to because the conversation is finito."
This time I made sure that I opened my car door. I climbed into the driver's seat and sped off with Isabel still chewing on her popcorn.

"And the best part was when you suddenly popped up with a bag full of popcorn," I said holding my stomach because all the laughing I was doing really took a toll on my gut.
She wiped tears from her eyes, "I remembered that I had it in my bag and I thought 'Well I can't let this moment go to waste.'"
I shook my head with a huge grin on my face. I took a swing of my now, warm temperature water.
After a few minutes of silence of us trying to pull ourselves together, Isabel broke it.
"I'm bored," she said sighing.
"Me too, are there any parties?" I asked.
It was a Friday night and it was October. Halloween was a weekend away and usually the people at Riverview threw huge ragers for it.
She shook her head, "No, there is one tomorrow though. Costume not required."
I grunted, "I''m busy tomorrow."
After a few minutes of thinking, I got an idea.
"Twilight marathon?" I smirked.
"Willow Grey, this is why you're my best friend."
Five movies of vampire, wolves, and romance later... Isabel was passed out and I was getting drowsy.
Suddenly the lights from the front door area were on.
Let me introduce you to my parents.
Jason Grey - my dad.
A strong man with gray hair. Apparently all the women on the PTA at my school thinks he is attractive which is also apparently where I get all my good looks from (I really don't). He is a surgeon, the reason why our house is big but not mansion big. The sweetest guy you will ever meet.
Lillian Grey - my mom
A petite woman with gorgeous blonde hair, always in a perfect French twist or waves. The head of the PTA and the most well known woman in my neighborhood. She's an interior designer and an amazing baker, but make her cook the simplest food like spaghetti- the house would be on fire. Doesn't have a single bad bone in her body.
I got up from our couch and headed over to the front door to greet them. Ever since I was ten, they decided to have a "Friday Night Date". I find it adorable and hope that one day I will find somebody to do that with until all my hairs turn gray.
"Hey guys," I smiled.
"Hi honey," my mom said pulling me into a hug.
"Hey taco," my dad ruffled my hair.
Long story short, when I was young I had a deep fear of tacos. Hence the reason why my dad calls me that now.
"Dad," I groaned flattening out my hair.
"Are those my second parents?!" I heard Isabel excitedly scream from the living room.
My parents laughed, "Hi Isabel," they said in unison.
"Go to bed, I know you're tired," my mom said holding my cheek.
"Ok moooom," I said dragging my feet to the living room to get Isabel.
She was lying on the couch, looking a hot mess. I hit her head causing me to receive a death glare.
"Let's go to bed fool," I said reaching for the remote to turn off the tv.
She simply got up, skipped towards the stairs, walked up and turned into my bedroom. When I finally got into my room, I shut my door carefully and stepped into my closet.
I threw a pair of pj's out for Isabel and changed into my own.
We both climbed into my king sized bed and fell asleep.
A typical Friday night.
