I locked the door behind me and pulled apart the shower curtains. I quickly undressed out of my joggers and oversized glamour kills shirt, and dropped them on the floor by the sink, knowing that the guys would wake up soon. I hung the towel on the door and then stepped into the shower and turned it onto full temperature, looking up at the head and watching the hot water rain down on my bare body.

This was one of the only points in my day where I had time to reflect on things, whether it was just song ideas, or thinking through my life. I began to wash my hair when Jenna came to my mind again. It was like she was running circles in my mind, because recently, that was all I ever could think about. Every time someone mentioned her name my heart would flutter, I would try and hide a smile and my mood would brighten to an extent.

I felt like a girl from highschool, having a crush on her best friend, and facing the problem of not knowing whether they liked you back. I guess I could have asked Whakaio, as him and Jenna were quite close, and I knew I could ask him if there was any point hoping, because Jenna hadn't exposed her sexuality clearly to most people, and the last person she dated  that we knew of, was a guy from high school, which 'The Other Side' was based on.

I finished washing the conditioner out of my hair, opened the curtains and reached for the green towel I had hung on the hook on the door, and dried my hair and then wrapped the towel around myself, when I looked up at the pile of dirty clothes remembering I hadn't brought any clean ones with me. I didn't particularly want to ask one of the guys to go through my belongings, or having to run across the bus with nothing but a towel on, so I eventually decided to ask Jack.

"Jack?" I opened the door and looked through the small crack.

He looked up from reading a magasine someone had left on the table, and stood up, placing it back on the table. "Yeah?"

I looked around awkwardly and then asked him "I kinda forgot to bring my clothes, please could you pass me some?"

I watched him walk over to the row of drawers, standing at the first ones, which were green (which you probably may have guessed, is my favourite color), when he asked-

"Are these yours?" I replied with a nod, and he turned around to quickly rummage through them, finding my Buffy tank and a pair of leggings and black underwear and a bra, which he then brought over to me.

I looked up at Jack from under my wet fringe and said

"Thanks", and he walked away as if nothing had happened, but I guess us girls can occasionally find some situations more awkward and embarassing than guys.

I pulled on the clothes, and let my hair down to dry naturally, tidied up the bathroom and threw my clothes into the washing basket. I went over to the door and heard loud groans and moans from everyone, the typical sounds of men waking up, and left the bathroom again into the now awaken bus.
