(Gold's POV)
After walking for some time, I get a call from Prof. Elm.
"Gold!" He says, "Gold? Hey, Gold!"
I clap loudly so he knows I'm listening!
I heard you don't need vocal cords to whisper, but I for some reason can't do that!
"Oh, sorry about that. Forgot that you can't speak! Anyways, my research is done and me and the police have agreed to something. You can keep Manaphy!"
I hang up and text Elm that I'm coming back right now!
When I get to New Bark Town, I make sure the girls left. They're no longer there.
I enter the lab and see Manaphy running up to me.
"It's all yours now!" Elm says, "Also, you can tell the other Dex Holders now!"
I give him a thumbs up.
I run up out of the lab and fly to Pallet Town.
I knock on the door with Pich and Manaphy on my shoulder.
Red let's me in and I see the girls with angry expressions on their faces, except for Crystal.
I covered Manaphy in my bag with the zipper slightly opened so it can breathe.
I mouth to Red, covering my mouth from the rest of them and say, "Can we go upstairs? Privately?"
He nods and we make our way upstairs.
We get to his room and he asks, "So what are you going to do?"
I take out my bag and unzip it all the way. Red is shocked when he sees it.
Red starts to speak, "WOW! Gold, that's-"
I cover his mouth.
He whispers, "Is that why you've been leaving this whole time?"
I nod. I write something on a piece of paper saying that I had to hatch the egg and evolve it!
Manaphy then makes a joyful scream.
I quickly hide Manaphy inside my bag.
Ruby comes up the stairs, "Did I hear a scream?"
I point to Red.
"Oh, uh..."
I then signal to Ruby to shut up and come here.
I then take out Manaphy as he walks over to us.
He's about to scream until Red shushes him.
I decided to return Manaphy to its Pokeball since it's calmed down now.
Luckily, it stays inside of it!
I come back downstairs with the guys following me.
"So," Green says, "what was with the screaming?"
I point to Red, smiling!
"Oh, I was just uh..."
I signal Pich to Thundershock me with not a lot of power.
I think Pich is too high of a level because when it hit me, it hurt a lot.
"Gold!?" Red says, trying to get rid of the embarrassment, "Are you alright?"
I wink and nod at the same time.
Whew I needed to get that off of my chest.
To be continued...
I overleveled Pich!
