The Secret You Kept

(Gold's POV)

Everyone looks behind them and they see me.

"Where were you?" Blue asks.

I take out the Team Rocket hat out of my pocket. They gasp.

Silver comes up to me and then starts shaking me, "WHY DIDN'T YOU LET ME HELP!? YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT I WANNA CRUSH TEAM ROCKET TOO!"

I push Silver, not because he was going crazy, but because I did feel bad that he couldn't help.

"What were they doing?" Green asks.

I give Ruby and Red a look and I think they know what's going to happen.

I take out the Pokeball and open it as Manaphy comes out.

Everyone except Red and Ruby were shocked.

"How did you get that?" Crystal asks.

I point to Prof. Elm's lab and mouth, "He'll explain."

Everyone starts going to the lab. I'm about to follow them but Crys stops me. I didn't even know she was behind me.

She starts to say something, "Why didn't you tell me?" 

I shrug. She then slaps me across the face and runs up to the others.

I decide to stay behind and play with my Pokemon for a while.

I had to take out Sintaro out of my party for now.

Manaphy is having a lot of fun interacting with my Pokemon. 

I'm wishing I could nickname it. I don't have a nickname right now but even if I did, Manaphy probably won't know.

The group comes out after some time.

"Why did you tell Red and Ruby but not us?" Sapphire asks.

Red speaks, "Could it be the fact that you were invading Gold's personal space?!"

"No!" Blue says, "Right, Gold?!"

I mouth a "Yes, that is why!"

Sapphire then starts to walk up to me and punches me in the arm, "Are ya serious?!"

Manaphy starts to squeal and launches a Water Pulse at Sapphire.

Sapphire goes flying and hits the ground.

"Gold!!!" Emerald and Blue yell, "Why did you signal your Pokemon to do that?!"

I shake my head.

"Sapphire!!" Ruby says running up to her, with the other girls tailing him.

Silver's eyes widen, Emerald looks disturbed, and Red and Green seem impressed by Manaphy.

Sapphire gets up, with help from the others and speaks,  "I don't know what's gotten into ya, Gold! But you seem to hate us now!" 

I shake my head.

Manaphy jumps onto my shoulder with Pich. My other Pokemon are staring at the others.

Explotaro starts to growl.

I start to walk away but a pair of hands grab my shoulders from behind.

I hear sniffles.

"Gold," It's Crystal, "you're BREAKING my heart right now!"

I turn my head to look at her.

She continues, "You used to be this kid who always smiled, never kept secrets no matter what!" 

I feel guilt bringing me down.

"But now, you've changed...the boy I loved has changed!"

I am in shock...I don't know what to feel right now.

I take a peep at the other's.

Blue looks worried, Yellow and Emerald have a scared expression on their faces, Sapphire has anger in her eyes, Red is just staring, and Green and Silver are just closing their eyes.

Blue speaks up, "She talked about you every time she had the chance! She feels a lot of love for you!"

I give a shocked expression.

Crys stops her tears now, "I'm sorry for putting you through all this. I know you like someone who's all pretty, humorous, and doesn't kick you!"

She runs to route 29.

I run after her while returning my Pokemon.

I hear Green say, "It's his business!"

He was probably stopping the girls from running after us.
