Feeling Odd...

(Gold's POV)

I text them back saying that I had something going on. 

They ask me to go to Pallet Town. I reply saying 'yes' and fly there.

When I get there, Red let's me in.

"Where were you?!" Ruby asks.

I can't tell them. I just shrugged.

"No," Sapphire says, "you can tell us!"

I shake my head.

Then Blue comes up to me and I back away towards the wall.

Red shakes his head and goes upstairs.

"Come on, Gold!" Blue says, "Just tell us."

I take out my pencil. I have no paper right now though.

"Yo, Red!" Green yells, "You got any paper? These people won't stop bugging Gold!"

"Oh shut up, Green!" Blue says, turning her head.

"No!" Red says from upstairs, "I'm not an artist if you haven't figured it out yet!"

"You'll tell us later, right?" Blue says.

I just stare at her.

(Crys' POV)

Where has he been? Will he tell us?

I'm really sorry, Gold!

(Gold's POV)

Then Yellow appears from behind Blue, "I can read people's minds too!" 

I then think of something stupid.

"Well, what is it?" Sapphire asks.

"It was just how he taught his Pokemon his secret battling style!" Yellow says.

Crystal looks at me. I can tell her eyes are going to water again!

I try to mouth to her saying "It's fine, Crys!".

She mouths back to me saying, "No it's not!"

I face palm again. The girls gave up trying to get me to answer them.

My Pokegear rings and I check whatever is happening. It's a voicemail from Prof. Elm. I place the Pokegear onto my ear, making sure I can only hear it. Prof. Elm needs me to come back to the lab. The voicemail stops.

I put my Pokegear back into my pocket.

"Who was that?" Ruby asked.

I face palm once again, pointing to my throat and shaking my head.

"Yeah," Sapphire says, "this is not going to be easy getting used to you now, Gold!"

I open the door but Blue stops me, "Let us come!" 

I shake my head.

"Aw come on, Gold!" Sapphire says.

I roll my eyes.

"Are you hiding something?" Yellow asks.

I show an annoyed expression on my face.

"Hey, Ruby," Sapphire asks, "help us out here!"

Ruby then responds, "If Gold doesn't want us to come, I respect that."

I give Ruby a thumbs up. He smiles.

"Green," Blue says, "can you get Gold to let us come with him?" 

"Pesky woman," Green says, "just leave him alone; it's his business!"

"Red!" Yellow says, "Do you wanna see Gold train?" 

Red comes bolting down the stairs.

I mouth 'No I'm not doing that!'.

Red then goes back upstairs.

"Crystal!" Blue says, "Go with Gold!"

Oh no! If I say no, she'll cry. But I can't say yes either.

I see Crystal turn her head away. That probably means that's a no thanks.

I then fly to New Bark Town.

I felt so...odd in that conversation...
