MATTHEWS P.O.V

I was excited to get to know Rose more, but felt so bad about taking Rose away from everyone, even though technically we agreed on it, I still felt guilt on my shoulders. After a bit of silence I asked Rose "You ready?"

"I guess..." she looked down. Now I really feel horrible. She kissed Jordan and we left. We arrived in front of our house. I didn't know she had already thought of one and made it appear. It was pretty cool I had to admit.

...but small.

She saw my face. "I promise it's A LOT bigger than it seems." She seemed very excited now.

We walked in and HOLY SHIT.

And across the room was an AMAZING kitchen

"I hope you don't mind," she said as she was hanging up 3 coats on a rack. I dont even remember the jackets. "I put your bedroom downstairs. Its just through the glass door over there." She motioned to a clear door in between the stairs and the kitchen.

"No, I don't mind." I softly smiled. She returned it. "Wow this is beautiful." She chuckled a bit.

"You should see upstairs sometime." She snickered.

"No, I think that'd be too much to take in." We both laughed.

ROSE'S P.O.V

Matthew's face was hilarious. He looked like he'd just encountered a dinosaur or something. I don't know exactly why, but I felt super excited...and murderous. After Matt and I talked for a bit, I went upstairs. There are so many rooms, but I did that on purpose. I like having options. I just randomly picked a door.

I went to the window and looked out to all the cars on the distant freeway

I went to the window and looked out to all the cars on the distant freeway. There are people driving those cars. People I could torture, kill, dismember, so many possibilities. I honestly have no idea where these ideas come from. I'm not mad about my parents death or anything like that. My parents. It would be the perfect first kill! That is, if they survived the crash.

I went back downstairs and asked Matt if he knew where my parents were. "Kind of. Your mom is dead, but in heaven. Your human dad however, is still alive. In Seattle, I believe."

Fuck. Were in California. "I'm going to pay him a visit..." I smiled mischievously.

"Rose..." he warned. "If you go see him, that could ruin a lot of things that I think you like as is."

"No, it's fine. Trust me." I smiled wickedly. "My face will be the last thing he sees."

Sry for the short chapter. I'll try to make it up 😊
