I got into the car Matt brought and put the case with Emily in it in the backseat. "Wanna tell me What's in there?" He asked."Nah, not really." I joked. He rolled his eyes at that. "This girl who was starting to make fun of me and push me. You should've seen the look on her face when I pulled out the syringe! Ha!"
"Rose! It's your first day in high school and you already killed a girl!?"
"No, not kill, tranquilize."
"Whatever. Hey, you wanna go out for dinner?"
I got confused. "I thought immortals didn't eat?"
"We don't but..." I could tell he was having a hard time describing it. "Ok, if a human eats dirt, does it harm them?"
"No...?"
"Its the same idea. And you like showing off our money anyway, right?"
"Yeah, I guess we can. Just let me drop off Emily in the basement."
"So that's her name -tsk- so basic."
"A basic name for a basic bitch."
............................
I took the case to the basement. She'd be waking up in about 10 more minutes since I barely put anything in the syringe. I quickly took her out, chained her to a chair, and waited.
When I was done, I decided to look through her phone. I opened it and she didn't have a password. Idiot. I looked through her, social media, texts, notes, and search history and I could tell shes been through a lot. She has anxiety, her dad has cheated several times, her mom's in some serious debt, AND her older brother just died. I'm sooo going to get inside her head. She finally woke up. She was drowsy, but it quickly faded once she remembered what happened. "You..." she sputtered. "I can't believe you!"
"Well, I'm standing right in front of you. Don't know how much more proof you need."
She did NOT look amused. "You're insane!"
"I know! Isn't it great!?" No comment. "You know, you're really quiet when you're not surrounded by people, eh?"
"Shut the hell up!"
"Ha!" I started to choke her with my hand. "I'd be careful, Emily. Another comment like that and I'll be cleaning your blood off these walls."
I let go and she caught her breath for a second. "Why are you doing this!? You don't even know what I'm going through right now!" She was on the verge of tears, I could see it.
"Oh, dont I though?" She looked puzzled. "Oh, I'm sorry, allow me to elaborate. Your brother." She paled. "What do you think he would think of you bullying other students, huh? Oh wait, you wouldn't know. He's too busy rotting 6 feet underground." I smirked.
"I swear I'm gonna-"
"-ah! What did I say about smart comments?" She looked defeated. "You're just as bad as your father, aren't you?" I giggled as she burst into tears and I waited a few minutes so she would calm down. I started to walk out.
"Where are you going!?"
"A restaurant. You are staying here." I opened the door but she stopped me.
"Wait! Can you please bring me something back? I haven't eaten since yesterday morning!"
I was about to say oh well, that's your fault but then I had an idea. Genius. "Fine. What's your favorite food?"
"W-wait really!? Oh, u-um sushi! S-sushi."
I rolled my eyes and walked out. Matt was sitting at the counter waiting for me. "How'd it go!? Did you make her pay??"
"Be patient, Matt. I'll show you the tapes later."
"Tapes?" He said in a shocked tone.
"I put a camera in the darkest corner. Don't worry, its practically invisible."
"Ok then. Where are we going?"
"Hmm..." I smiled. "Are there any sushi places close by?"
