Caught by You

Chapter 4

That night, around 3 A.M.

Tyler finally shut his laptop letting out a sigh, relieved that he's finally done with work. He looked over at the clock , looks like hes been woking for a very long time already ,before standing up, walking out of his home office and towards the stairs. He ran his hands through his silky black hair as he thinks of such possibilities with this turn of events.

"Ty-Tyler" a soft voice spoke from the top of the stairs.

Tyler's head whipped up and he saw Luci standing at the top of the stairs. He smiled softly at her as he stood beside the smaller.

"Why are you still up so late? hmm." Tyler asked humming.

" I c-cant sleep much" Lucie blushed looking at the taller's eyes.

"Well, are you alright now?" Tyler asked softly.

"I'm still scared! Wha-what if they come back and hurt me again? I won't be able to bare it the second time!" Lucie whimpered as tears slowly fall down from her eyes.

"Of whom? There is no one here to hurt you this place is heavily guarded and they wouldn't make it past the driveway." Tyler tried to assure the agitated female.

"I do-don't know!"

Tyler stares at the girl with eyes full of pity because of what she has gone through during her early childhood or teenage years.

What she really wanted was to be in Tyler's arms again. The make was warm and he gave Lucie a very safe feeling. This is the first time the girl felt this again ever since her mother passed away. She was always abused and tortured so she wasn't that used to this kind of feeling.

" Would you like to come to lay with me?" Tyler asked softly while smiling at the cat hybrid.

Lucir nodded shyly as Tyler softly and gently grabbed her hand. She smiled softly looking at the ground as Tyler pulled her towards his bedroom.

Both of them stopped in front of his bed and Tyler turned around to say something to Lucie.

"I need to change and shower but I'll be out in like twenty minutes, okay?" Tyler spoke as Lucie sat on the bed.

After around twenty minutes Tyler went out of the bathroom wearing his pajamas, ready to go to bed. On the bed there he saw Lucie already lying down so Tyler lied down and pulled Lucie closer to him. Something about the small cat-eared girl made him soft inside.

"Ty-Tyler, thank you" Lucie blushed hiding her face on Tyler's chest.

THE NEXT MORNING

Tyler let out a sigh his eyes opening, what he saw when his vision cleared made a wide smile pop into his face. Lucie was sitting at the end of the bed watching the cartoons playing on the television. Her tail was swaying back and forth and her ears were perked up happily. Tyler sat up catching Lucie's attention and away from the tv. The smaller turned around rushing up to Tyler. Their faces inches apart as Lucie smiled happily.

"I'm hungry" Lucie spoke pouting.

"Then why don't we hi get some breakfast cutie little kitten!" Tyler poked Lucie's nose.

"Hehe cutie little kitten" Lucie clambered off the bed rushing Tyler out of it as well.

" Hold on, hold on, just wait a bit" Tyler chuckled.

"You've warmed up to this place pretty quickly."  Tyler smiled.

"It's nice here" Lucie spoke happily, her tail swaying so fast behind her.

They sat at the table waiting for the food Lucie heard a voice she recognized. It was almost as same as Tyler just a bit different and also hive off a different vibe. Both of them turned around to see who came and its no other than Terrence, Tyler's younger brother.

"Ah, there you are, Terrence! Come eat with us" Tyler invited.

" No sir, it's fine I've already eaten in the way" Terrence answered and Tyler pouted grumbling about how his cute little brother doesn't love him anymore.

A cute little giggle was heard and Tyler immediately lights up as he remembered Lucie.

"hahhaahhehehe" Lucie giggled at the way Tyler was pouting and suddenly became conscious of it when the two boys looked at her.

"Mmmmm....... Is there something wrong?" Lucie asked cutely and she doesn't even know that it made Tyler's heart swoon.

"Yeah, I think there is. Somethings going wrong with my heart whenever I see you smiling and laughing so cutely like that!" Tyler said dreamily looking at Lucie.

She can't help but blush with the excessive compliment directed to her.

"Ehem, Anyway forget my idiotic boss of a brother, So how are you feeling?" Terrence asked Lucie as she ate a bit of food.

"I'm totally fine now since you all saved me from those bad and ugly men" Lucie smiled goofily. " Eh but boss, I thought you were brothers? by the way what's your surname? Lucie asked curiously.

" Yes, he is my older brother by three years, but he's a little childish so bare with him and the surname" Terrence answered with a sigh.

"Hey, stop talking to her already!"
"And why IS that?"
"Because you were flirting with her!"
"Huh? I wasn't you dimwiT!"
"How dare you!"
"Uh how can you be older than me!"
"That's just the way of life, blehhh!"
"Why you!"
"blah,blah,blah,blah,blah,blah"

While the two continue their pointless argument in front of Lucie, she just keeps mumbling something about some bad memories of hers made by her late father and when she remembered it, she stood up gasping. The two boys immediately went to her side asking what's wrong. She just stood there frozen, thinking of how to break it to Tyler.
