Chapter 5

Lucie couldn't hear a thing because of how nervous she is right now. What she's thinking right now is base on what she heard from her bastard of a father. She didn't want to believe it but what if it's true? She doesn't want Tyler to hate her.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Tyler asked softly concerned about why the girl is acting so strange.

Lucie sighed and thought 'here it goes'.

"Ummmm...I think I know who killed your father" she said with nervousness.

"Wait, what my father isn't dead yet, so what are you talking about?" Tyler asked confused since he's sure that he's a dad is still alive unless he died and he's the only one who doesn't know it.

"Huh?, but then who is Ace?, I overheard my jerk father and his right-hand man talking about it when I was in the basement. They said that they will kill someone precious to you!" Lucie was just so confused.

"Yeah, he did kill someone precious and its the one who adopted me, His name is Ace King, the one who took care of me and made me strong!" Tyler spoke as he reminisced the happy past he had with the dead old man.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to open the past scars" Lucue said consciously.

"It's fine so you think your father was the one behind the death of my adoptive father?" Tyler asked fuming.

"Ye-Yes, but you won't kill or hurt me too right? Please don't, I'm sorry about the things my father did but please don't harm me! Lucie pleaded with tears streaming down from her eyes. She was truly afraid of what's gonna happen to her now.

"Hey, hey, it's fine. It wasn't your fault that your father kills people. You have nothing to do with it, okay?" Tyler spoke as he brushes the falling tears away from her cheeks.

"Are you sure?" Lucie asked oh so adorably with pout playing on her lips.

"Ai good, of course, you cutie!" Tyler said pinching her cheeks as she blushes from the compliment.

'Ehem, guys I'm still here if you have forgotten!" Terrence reminded annoyed.

"Yeah, you are forgotten, so just go away ugly boy," Tyler said as he stuck his tongue out on a blehh position.

"And this is why Is till wonder, on who is the real older man between the both of us" Terrence walked out annoyed.

Lucie giggled because of their banters and Tyler stared at her mesmerized. OH, how beautiful, the way she giggled is just so cute, Tyler thought and smile at her.

Lucie blushed as she noticed him continuously staring at her face.

Tyler suddenly sighed and that made Lucie baffled since it was already clear that there is ni probleM.

"Is there something wrong?"

"No, its nothing but you see there are still some secrets you should know about me," Tyler said looking straight at her eyes.

"It doesn't mean matter. You save so I should accept all of the things you will say. You are my handsome savoir" Lucie smiled goofily.

Too cute and adorable. Add her ears twitching and tail swaying side to side with her adorably cute face. Tyler thoughts as he can't stop fangirling while Lucie just starred at him questionably.

" So what is the thing you want to say to me? It is fine I won't judge you" she smiled while she was asking.

" Lucie I run a mafia, its called devil gang. I'm sure you have heard of it before. W is pretty popular if I must say so and it is not because we hurt people, the real reason is that we want to make the world a better place so don't worry we don't do bad things!" Tyler finished looking down, afraid of what is going to be her reaction about the matter.

"Hey look up now there nothing wrong with it, the truth is that its amazing. You are really admirable with the kind of work you do!" Lucie praised Tyler to nake hin feels a lot better With his job.

"Now then, we should continue meeting" Tyler spoke before eating a spoonful of bacon and egg.

After eating breakfast they both went to the big garden where Lucie enjoyed her time with the plants. After a few hours Tyler left her saying;

"I need to do some work cutie pie, Is that alright with you?"
Lucie answered with a " Yes, I'll be fine so di not neglect your work because of me anymore.  Now shoo, shoo"

Tyler left with Terrence, Bryan, and Kris and went to the secret meeting place of the devil gang.

"I've found an important clue on who started the attack one year ago!" Tyler announces as the members of the gang went crazy loud.

A man raised his hand and asked;
" But what if it is wrong again?" Others immediately nodded their heads in agreement.

" Don't worry,  this from the girl we saved. It was that bastard Lucifer Faith who started it. NOW I want everyone to get to work to find out who is the other people connected to this" Tyler finished.

Tyler did not expect for the meeting to take such a long time and it was after dinner time when they were done discussing the issue.

Upom arriving home he immediately went at the back garden in hopes of finding Lucie waiting for hin there and found no one but Darrene the gardener and chef.

He asked the passing maid on whee Lucie has gone to and tge maid pointed upstairs where his bedroom is located. He thanked her and she bowed at him befire rushing off to her task.

Tyler went upstairs and opened his bedroom door immediately hearing small whimpers. Tyler looked at Lucie who seemed worried in her sleep and let out a soft sigh.

"Lucie, Hey wake up" Tyler spoke softly as he shooked her awake gently.

Lucie did not even flich as Tyler let out soft sigh again.

"Wake up and we can cuddle, you want that right, sweetheart?" Tyler smirked when Lucie's eyes fluttered open.

A soft smile filled Lucie's face when she saw Tyler. Tyler laid down as Lucie quickly moved to his side fohmr her cuddles.

"S-sweetheart" Lucie spoke softly

"Hmmmm" Tyler hummed meeting Lucie's stare.

"Y-you called me swe-sweetheart"Lucie blushed.

"I knew you would like that name, but hey today has been pretty stressful, why dont we get some sleep?" Tyler smiled.

Lucie nodded hiding her red face on Tyler's side.

"Good night, my sweetheart"

"Go-good night too, Tyler"
