Lucie's POV

When Darrene and I finished cooking the soup. I place it into two separate bowls before making our way to the kids room.

"Let's go." Darrene said heading out of the kitchen door. I followed him.

"So, how long have you been with sir? You make him really happy, you know?" He asked and I blushed.

Why do people keep telling me that?

"I'm not with him." I mumbled shyly and he chuckled.

"If I do not have a girlfriend I love, I will totally date you. You're cute, you know?" He said.

"So are you going to hurry or what? Darrene, you can go check the security while I deal with this." Tyler said in what seemed like as pissed off voice. Indeed his eyes were angry and his body tensed.

"Sure boss, bye Lucie, nice talking to you." Darrene said before walking away. I looked at his hand and saw a bandage.

"Wait, how did you get hurt?" I asked curiously.

I looked at Tyler only to see him hate at Darrene, then frowned.

Darrene looked at me before smiling, rubbing his neck.

"My bed broke." He replied with a wink before going and when I realized what he meant, I blushed.

Tyler seemed angrier than before.

"What's wrong? I thought he was your friend?" I asked curiously, my hands trembling as the tray started feeling heavy.

"He is one of my trusted men yet, that doesn't give him the right to touch your shoulder." He mumbled like a child while I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not yours yet Tyler, you can't be jealous." I spoke smiling at his pouting face but he scowled.

"Well the food isn't ready yet, that doesn't mean I can't get hungry." He retired as we walk into the corridor. The white wall started getting purple and blue. There were stickers of starts and many other alphabets.

"Kids' room are here?" I asked as we entered s big hall I never saw.

There was a big door locked and I saw Tyler removed a key from his pocket.

"Yeah, that's for our security reason stop that the kids don't come here or if someone else our house, they don't harm the kids." He said before unlocking the door. I was shocked to see the more heavy big doors.

Wow, he really cared for the children's safety.

"Welcome!" He said. When we reached the hall, the place was full of toys. There were corners for kids and teens. A huge tv with games consoles and there was a heater and an air conditioner.

"Wow!" I said in awe and Tyler chuckled. He smiled his hand around my waist and started walking while I looked at his hand before looking back in front, the usual blush present.

I think I'll make the blush Rosy.

Hi Rosy!

I explained in my head and pulled my cheeks with my own fingers before smiling at my own childishness. I shook my head and looked around.

"Who had this idea?" I asked curiously as we walked slowly say that I could admire the place and let the soup cool down a bit.

"Ace did the old man loves kids and some of the guards, my closest friends saved children who decided to stay here and work for us to repay our favor wm even though Ace told them that they have freedom." He said with a smile.
