"Mr. Jacobs you are late." Mr. Schutter scolded the devil, he just smirked at Mr. Schutter and shrugged. Mr. Schutter huffed and walked to the desk right next to me. Please don't put him there, please don't put him there...
"Mr. Jacobs you will be sitting here." He pointed to the seat next to me. Was he purposefully doing this? The devil looked at the seat, then at me, once he saw me his smirk grew. He casually walked towards the desk as my stomach sank deep inside of me. He threw his backpack on the desk and slid in the cool plastic seat. Mr. Schutter went to get something from his desk and was busy looking for it.
"You haven't changed Mal....only that your boobs got a lot bigger." That ladies and gentlemen would be Dylan Jacobs, my ex-best friend. He was the school player and hit on anything with boobs and of course the girls at my school were dumb enough to swoon over the ass-hole. He hasn't talked to me since what happened in 7th grade. I turned towards him with a frown.
"That's because last time I talked to you I was in training bras." I barked back and rolled my eyes.
"Oh snappy, I like girls who play hard to get." Did the guy know when to shut up? I turned my body back towards the board and pretended it was the most interesting thing in the world. "Your shirt looks great, it fits your body perfectly."
I kept my eyes on the board "Bite me." I growled back at him. Before Dylan could say anything else Mr. Schutter walked over with trash bags.
"Since you both don't know how to keep our school a nice clean place for your detention I'm making you clean the gum from under all of my desks." He was doing what? I'm not a girly girl but that doesn't mean I still want to stick my hands in someone else's salvia.
"Dude there is no way I'm doing that." Dylan protested back to Mr. Schutter. Mr. Schutter chuckled making the room get 10 times scarier.
"You don't have a choice Mr. Jacobs unless you want me to tell Mrs. Kenny that you were displaying PDA in the gym this morning with Ms. Hendrik." Dylan instantly shut his mouth and Mr. Schutter handed us the trash bags and plastic gloves, thank god. Mr. Schutter went back to his desk to work on something. Dylan grumbled as he stood up from his seat and I stood up as well and started to take the gum off the bottoms of the desk. I cringed every time the gum stretched from the desk and my fingers that were holding it. Mr. Schutter stood up from his desk and walked to the door of the classroom.
"I have to go to a meeting I will be back before dentition is over and when I get back I better not see a single piece of gum under my desks. Mrs. Maloney will be keeping an eye on you two." He walked out of the door and I continued to take the disgusting gum from under the tables. Dylan walked over to Mr. Schutter's desk, I just ignored him. I looked up when I saw him sit onto Mr. Schutter's chair and he put his feet on his desk.
"What are you doing?" I yelled whispered at him and he gave me a cheeky smile back at me.
"Relax Mal I'm not hurting anybody." Man was this guy infuriating. "What are you doing in here anyway? Forget your homework, you talked back to the teacher, making out with one of your friends?" he raised an eyebrow. I tried to suppress the vomit that was coming into my mouth and scowled at him.
"What the hell?! Why would I kiss my friends?" he winked at me suggestively and I gave him the finger while turning back to do my work.
"You are not even going to ask how I got in here. Some friend you are." I held back my anger as much as I could.
"First off we are not friends and second I don't give a f**k about you." This was going to take forever to finish.
"That's not very nice Mal, what happened to make us not friends?" Was he really asking me this? He wasn't, stupid he knows what it was about.
"You." I was done talking about this it was just going to make the situation worse.
"What did I do?" He makes me so mad!
"You asked me out in 7th grade. You were my best friend since kinder why would you do that to me? I didn't like you like that but once I told you that I didn't, you went crazy and started picking on me." Tears started to fill my eyes, I still don't know why I'm telling the devil this but it was like word vomit, god I should not be quoting mean girls in a time like this.
"Oh yeah I did do that." His smirk was placed on his perfect evil face, that's when I knew that he was my mortal enemy.
