Can You Really Be Mine?

"I'm sexy and I know it!" Ringtone went off an woke be me from my beloved sleep. I groaned a reached over to grab my phone.

"Hello?"

"Peyton Babyy!!" Dev, one of my best friends, yelled in to the phone.

"Dammit Dev! Are you trying to blow out my ear drum?!" I yelled down the phone. I looked over at my alarm clock. It said 5:43. WAIT 5:43 IN THE MORNING!!

"And why are you calling at this ungodly hour?"

"Sheesh calm down Pey. I'm at your door let me in." And with that she hung up on me. I groaned again, kicked off my covers and got up. I walked to the door and there stood Dev. She smiled at me while I just stared. I finally broke the silence.

"Rude." And with that I started walking to the kitchen. I could hear my coffee pot begging for me to make coffee.

"Hey! I'm not rude. I just prefer to get ready here." She said. I forgot that her parents were away on their second honeymoon and that she had the whole house to herself. She hated to be alone for too long.

"When did they leave?"

"Late last night." I just nodded my head,Getting the coffee to start brewing.

"So I came up with the perfect outfit and the perfect hairstyle ....." She kept talking and I zoned her out. Putting my head on the counter and closing my eyes, I was almost asleep when she asked, "Are you even listening?"

I slowly lifted my head to look at her. "I got to the part about your hair and then I zoned out." I said with a smirk. She just stuck out her tongue out at me. "Very mature." I said sarcastically.

"Whatever. So I'm going to start getting ready while you get your caffeine fill." She then got up and skipped to my room. I just shook my head and went to make myself a cup of coffee. I walked outside. I always loved the outdoors. My back yard was connected to a woods. I sat down in the lawn chair, when I heard rustling in the trees. I stiffened and kept my eyes trained on the tree line.

"Hello?" I know dumb right? It was most likely the wind. Well that's what I thought until I saw the electric blue eyes looking at me. My eyes widen as a big wolf head popped out. It was a dark chocolate color. I started to breath heavy. I mean this thing was probably hungry and I was going to be breakfast. It barked and I jumped about a foot in the air spilling coffee all over me.

"Shit!" I jumped up and looks back at the wolf to see that it looked like it was... laughing?

"Peyton you okay?" I heard Dev shout from inside the house. "Yea I'm good." I looked back towards the wolf but it just started to back up back into the trees. Once I couldn't see it anymore I walked back into the house to get ready.
