What if I Told You I Loved You, Too?

"Hello everyone, I'm Alex and welcome back to another video. Today I am joined by none other than George's girlfriend."

"Hey! I have a name, you know." I smack Alex in the arm.

Alex laughs, "Fine, fine. It's Y/N everyone!"

I throw my arms in the air, "Thanks for having me! I'm very excited for my first of many appearances on this channel." 

Alex rolls his eyes, "Sure, keep telling yourself that."

Alex and I record a 'We Watch' video where we react to whatever weird video Alex had decided to show me. I'd been on George's second channel a few times so I was getting more comfortable being in front of the camera and as always Alex was making me feel comfortable so I was having a good time goofing off with him. 

Once we got it all finished, Alex said that we'd gotten some really good content.

"You think so? Maybe I can replace that awful James character," I say jokingly.

"Alright, I wouldn't get so ahead of yourself. But you can definitely be his understudy," Alex wheels around in his desk chair while I play with the blanket that was thrown on his bed. 

"I'll take it!" I shout while I do a little wiggle on Alex's bed. He turns his eyes away from his computer and smirks at me. So I question him, "what?"

"I don't know," Alex faces away from me. "You're just so cute." 

I feel my cheeks grow warm and I start picking at my nails not willing to look at Alex. I let the comment hang in the air. I can feel Alex's eyes on me and then he stands up from his chair. He plops down on the bed next to me and grabs my hand. 

And I let him gently take it.

I had knots all up in my chest, I was trying my best to keep my eyes down. I didn't know what Alex had planned for this moment but he was being very sweet and squeezed my hand.

"I know this isn't good timing because George told me he told you he loved you." Alex was so close to me I could feel his breath on my cheek. "But, what if I told you I loved you, too?"

For a second I thought I was okay. I thought I could turn to him and say, but I love George, but the words wouldn't escape my lips. I was having trouble breathing but I finally got the courage to look up at Alex. 

He takes the opportunity to put his hand on my face and trace his fingers along my jaw, "I can't believe I just said that to you." Alex softly laughs as his eyes are looking at every inch of my face. "But here we are. Y/N, you are who I picture myself with. You are beautiful and funny and I can be myself with you."

I scrunch my face up, confused, "Alex, I don't know what to say to that."

 "I don't know what I expect you to say right now either but I feel so much better getting this off my chest. I know you're with George and he would kill me if he knew how I felt, but I just couldn't keep seeing you two together knowing that I could treat you even better if you were with me." He looked at me. "Am I crazy?"

He makes me chuckle and I put my hand over his and hold it to my cheek, "You're definitely crazy, but that's what I like about you." 

"So you do like me?" His eyes grow wide. 

"You're crazy and stupid if you didn't know that I liked you but," I pull his hand off my face and place it in his own lap. "We can't do anything about it. I'm with George, I like him more."

"Are you sure?" Alex looks down at my lips and slowly leans his face closer towards me.

"Yes," I breath as I let my eyes flutter shut and feel Alex's lips on mine. When we kiss, I feel the same intense passion I'd felt the first time. But this time, I pull away. 

"You don't seem so sure," Alex says while pressing his forehead to mine. 

I close my eyes and breath in his familiar scent. 

Shit.
