Chapter 4

I woke up to the sound of shouting in my head.

'Graciella come home this instant!' Demanded mum.

Seriously, I should have never given Sam and her the mind gift thing, it was starting to tick me off.

I gazed out into the now a wake forest. I was once again perched in a very tall pine tree, right in between three thick trucks. My favorite spot. I could hear the birds singing as they ran their morning habits. And I could spot from a distance a pack of wolves coming out of there den. My heart stung when I saw a black wolf step out of the den. That was the she-wolf I had first shifted into. Seven years had past since I'd seen that wolf, it had grown. A lot. It now stood at the head of the pack guarded by a male, which must be the alpha, so... She is now a Luna. I am proud.

I took one more breath of the forest and leapt of the tree, shifting half way, into a black wolf. I had never learned why I could make that black wolf bigger than it appeared to be on that horrible day. My wolf form stood as big as an average car, but not as wide. My wolf was my strongest form, apart from my bear. It was fast and had amazing hearing, reflexes and eyesight. Definately my choice.

I quickly speed off to home.

'Coming mum' I answered.

Just as I arrived home Mum started up the engine of the truck.

"You ready?" She asked.

"Ready as i'll ever be..." I whispered back in my human form.

I jumped into the car ready for the lecture mum was going to give me.

"Welcome back Loka" Sam whispered.

"Well..." Mum said.

'Here we go' I thought.

"How was the woods, love?" Mum asked.

Shock was written all over my face.

Mum giggled.

"Well, so we're leaving, and remember I don't want anyone saying 'are we there yet' on this trip, ok?" Mum smiled.

"Yes SIR!" Sam and I replied.

Everyone started laughing as we set out on our long journey.
