Chapter 8

Joaquin Blake's POV:

"Rise and shine, sleepy head!" Yelled Natasha.

"Why?" I yawned.

"School, remember?" She said in a 'duh' tone.

"Shit! What's the time?"

"8 am"

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier?!" I screamed.

"Sorry, the bus is passing Marc's house now, so you have about 30 mins to get ready!" She smirked.

"Come on Natasha!, I'm leaving!" I said as I buttoned up my school t-shirt and ran up the fence line.

"Ok! Ok!" She screamed.

"I hear the bus!"

I quickly jumped over the pond in front of me and jumped over our house fence just as the bus pulled up with a horrible screech. I jumped on the bus and sat next to Marc.

"Hey man, what's up?" Said Marc.

"I found my mate!"

"What? Who is she? You look terrible! Is it a guy?!"

"Shut up! She's a...." I was interrupted as the bus jerked to a stop with a loud screech and a red-headed boy jumped on to the bus, followed by my mate. Through the pack link I heard the 'wolf' whistles, the screams and amazement at the beautiful raven haired girl as she entered the bus.

"Wow! Why didn't you tell me we were getting a new pack member, 'specially when she's that fine, damn!" Marc said.

"What?" I asked, confused about why he said she was a new pack member and angry that he said she was hot! She was beautiful. And mine.

"Can't you smell it? Her wolf?"

"What?" I asked again wide-eyed

'Everyone, I hope you treat our new member with respect as you would with anyone else in this pack!' boomed the voice of my dad, the packs ALPHA.

"What?!" I screamed.

John Blake's (Joaquin's father) POV:

---1 DAY AGO---

I ran through the forest, full force, this morning Ben told me he felt a rouge in my lands and so did I. I could feel a great power as I took every stride further forwards the old Perkins place. I knew the wolf was there and I was going to have little talk with this rouge. I jumped through the kitchen window and landed right in front of a red haired woman. I sniffed once and could tell she was not the were, she was human.

She turned and glared at me.

"Shift! This instant!" She screamed.

I heard shuffling from above and in one second was tackled by an enormous pure black wolf. The she wolf stood over me with such strength. And I knew if I weren't an Alpha, I would have cowered with my tail between my legs.

"Shift now!" Growled the she-wolf in my head, how did she get in my head?! I looked at her over sized wolf and caught a flicker of white seeping down from her ear. It kept coming right down until her whole body was completely white. I starred at her as my mouth dropped to the ground.

"Y-you're a shifter!" I stuttered.
