Chapter 11

Ashton and Luke have been dating for two months now and are really close. Yet there is a lot Luke doesn't know about.

The self harm.

Abuse.

The accident.

How Ashton lost his dad, brother, and sister.

Starving himself.

Self image issues.

It was all too much for Ashton and he thought if he told Luke , Luke would leave . Everything was ok for Ashton at the moment and he didn't wanna ruin that.

Switching to Ashton's POV:

I think I'm gonna tell Luke about the accident today. Start out with that.

Luke was picking me up to go to his house to watch a movie since it was Saturday. He has no idea I'm going to tell him though.

I am so nervous you have no idea.

I put on a blue sweater , black skinny jeans , ugg boots , a long pale blue scarf, and a blue flower crown.

Today my outfit was on point !

I quickly fixed my short wavy hair and adjusted my legs before leaving my room after hearing the doorbell.

"Hey Ash!" Luke chirped.

He leaned down and gave me a peck on the cheek then the lips.

"Looking beautiful as always ."

"T-thanks"

"You ok darling?"

"Yeah I'm fine"

When we arrived at Luke's house I thought I was gonna pass out. I'm gonna get this done quickly and get it over with.

We went through the door and Luke already had a bowl of popcorn , a blanket , as well as a movie on the couch.

I'll tell him after we watch the movie so I can figure out a way to tell him during it.
I giggled at his little set up and so did he.

"You like this babe?" He asked giggling slightly.

I nodded with a wide grin on my face. Luke picked me up placing me on the couch then put the movie in.

"I hope you don't mind my movie choice.' He said smirking slightly.

" oh gosh I'm worried Luke why is it? " I asked in a slight panicky manner.

Luke grinned a little and said "Annabelle ."

"Are you serious really Luke I don't like scary movies!" I said trying not to laugh.

"Well then I'm hear to protect you!" I giggled again at his cheesiness.

He picked up his legs placing them on his laps and took off my boots .

"AWW you have fuzzy socks on they're so fuzzy!!" Luke started rubbing my feet to his face with a look of pleasure .

I gave him a weird look and laughed out a "weirdo."

He pouted slightly and I smiled at the adorable sight.

Then, he reached out grabbing my waist and pulling me on to his lap.

The movie began and it consisted mostly of my hiding my face in Luke's chest whimpering in fear while he cooed at me.

I figured out what I was going to say and tapped Luke's chest slightly.

He paused to movie and questioned " Yeah cutie?"

I cleared y throat and barely audibly said " I-I'm ready to tell you about the accident"

His eyes got a little wider and he assured me "Of course babe when you're ready go for it I'm here for you."

I explained to him the story but now I was gonna tell him how they passed.

Luke was hugging me tightly and sympathetically looking into my eyes.

"I wasn't the only one hurt though.. they .... they " I burst into tears.

Luke rubbed my back and gave me assuring things like "shh" or "it's all going to be ok I'm right here" and "you can tell me anything."

I took a deep breath and gained the courage to say "They..are gone"

A confused and hurt look spread across Luke's face and he wasn't hugging me as tight .
"Why didn't you tell me ?"

"I don't know I'm sorry my mom would have been mad and probably hurt me mo-"

Uh oh.

"What did you just say Ash?"

"N-nothing I said nothing"

With that Luke put me off his lap and left slamming the door.
